CLOUDFARE Security Message

Over the past few days you may have received a "Checking if the site connection is secure" message when accessing the site. This is perfectly normal and not cause for alarm.

This message indicates that the server is confirming that the SSL (the "s" that you see in the https before web addresses) security is, in fact, secure. This is not some sort of advertisement and it is not some sort of nefarious hacking.

Cloudfare, which is a provide of web hosting and security, has recently added this layer of security on the Soap Central message boards platform as an added layer of security.

The message may occur any time that your browser makes a new connection to the boards. The message may also stop appearing at any time as the process is further integrated into the boards.

    My Fast Forwarding Button is wearing out!

    I am so dissappointed in the direction of the Kyle/Lola story - it makes no sense to have Kyle marry Summer, so I FF through those scenes.
    I have never liked Jack and Kerry — zero chemistry from the start, so I FF through them.
    The Mariah and Tessa always gives my FF button a workout.
    I have always FF whenever Nick and Phyllis were together as a couple, but since they have broken up I enjoy their scenes.

    The only scene I enjoy right now is the court room. A few years ago when Sharon was involved with Dylan I stopped watching all together for about 5 months.
    I’ve been watching Y&R since 1973 and I may have to stop watching again for awhile!

      Yes, sometimes I get so frustrated at the ridiculous s/l's, I just stop watching for a few weeks and just read the recaps. Or sometimes, a friend will just say "nothing new" when I ask them if they have been watching and I accept this because I know it's probably more of the same old, same old that is being seen. However, if a good s/l is introduced then I get interested...for sure if ADAM comes back, I would be "glued" to the TV. I will also be "glued" when DD comes back as Paul!Just saying. LOL Elba

      Funny how ‘Mal Out/Paul In’ is probably going to happen on or very close to the same date (March 26 from what I’ve heard)...and Adam had better look a lot like Justin Hartley and act just as well or I won’t buy it. No more PSR’s (plastic surgery recasts) please ......Love JH as Adam.

    Ya, me too. It was just plain NO to Jack/Kerry so I'm glad that scene is coming to and end. Same with Mariah/Tessa and now Kyle/Summer. If they could just take Jack, Mariah and Kyle and give them storylines without their current partner, then my FF button "may" take a rest.

      I FF through the same as you, except I also FF through Cain, Auturo, Rey and Mia. A 34 minute show can be watched in just a couple of minutes especially when it is The Young and Rosales show. I want the old Y&R back. Have watched since the beginning. Reading Days synopsis daily, I might be changing after all these years. Rey has the personality of a tree, Auturo thinks he is a pit bull, Mia sleeps with her brother in law, tramp? Yet they occupy most of the show. Who writes this crap? Mal? I read an interview that the actor who plays Auturo gave. He said we need to get use to it Rosales are here to stay. He made some remark about we the fans loving our vets. Article made me dislike him more.
      As far as Summer, the writers have turned her extremely spoiled character into a vile human being.

      I would love to see more of the Gloria character (J is such a fine actress...can do comedy, can do drama, romance, etc.) and also the Kevin character (Savvy, Comical and Quirky). I think Y/R needs a little rest from murder, kidnappings, comas, etc. A little humor in the s/l's cannot hurt and would be a welcome change! JMO LOL Elba

    I am also a fan from the beginning, so I see that the dedicated fans have outgrown the writers. They seem to think we have no sense and if they play a story long enough it makes it watchable. Wrong. I have to take breaks after certain things happen. If not a break, then I use my FF button. Takes about ten minutes per day to watch the show. The story of Victor taking Christian was good drama for all actors. It showed how Sharon would be willing to step away if she were the cause of Victor's actions. We saw a powerful man get his way because he was powerful. Then Nick flipped out and we had to watch him cheat in a BIG way.. Now after all the things that happened with Kyle and Lola and watching him beg for her smiles and sometimes an hour of her time, we have to watch Summer mow down their lives. Sure she loves Kyle, just like she loved her mother and hit on her mom's boyfriend, just like she pushed herself in the name of love on Billy and just like she loved her dad, so much she would blackmail him for money. Oh yes, I FF. because I can tell when the writers are just filling in the blanks.

      Exactly. Everyone has their limits. I am simply incapable of watching a scene with Summer in it any longer. As soon as she shows up on my screen--I turn the channel
      and watch the recording on FF.
      I even have time for Rey and Mia, because I know their story is coming to an end.

      For me I fast forwarding anything Sharon she is boring and a a hypocrite she annoys me to no end. Anytime Sharon is on I will fast forward

        Mia I have no problem watching she is entertaining and she doesn't pretend to be perfect but Summer I can't stand watching either.

        Me also...can't stand "Saint Sharon" disgusting woman who has no morals, she loves every man she meets. I dread the writers putting her back with Nick, he deserves a new relationship.

      Yes. I am wearing my FF button out. I now record and watch later. When its plot to plot like it is now, you can skip most of the show.

          Clan Rosales, and I do mean ALL of them.

          Kyle and Lola. They put the B in boring and Kyle has completely lost himself while kissing Lola's butt.

          Mariah and Tessa. Mariah, like Kyle has lost herself for a vagabond, plagiarizing, blackmailing thief.
          After doing it herself and being forgiven, I would not look twice at someone who tried to con money out of my mom.

            I also fast forward thru anything that is Kyle & Summer. Or Mariah & Tessa. TB honest, I hate every story line right now. I keep hoping that when JG takes over, it will end all being a dream.

              yeah my FF button really gets a workout the courtroom scenes are the only ones i like kyle and summer are disgusting i so hate that story and sharon is just to stupid for words

                  I always have a good book close by for scenes or characters I’m actually embarrassed to watch. When you know the acting talent/capabilities of so many characters and they aren’t utilized, it’s hard to watch—like Jack who should be fully engaged in a good sl. Nice to see good acting and veteran actors in courtroom scenes...but yes, some of Y and R is unwatchable and several current characters unbearable.

                    It does w/Kyle and Summer, sometimes w/Rey and Mia, although I must profess, I need to listen to those lies Rey tells his wife so that when Sharon even thinks about getting w/him I can call her every slag in the book. But, my FF button will not be working today, because I want to cherish every moment of Tessa's arrest!

                    Kyle and Summer are wearing mine out. I canNOT stand listen to Summer lie about their "love story". I would love it if Kyle was playing summer and does not go through with it. Then I would go back to watching.

                      Summer is just delulu land. I love Kyle but putting him w/Lola after she became so militant against the purse, became ffw for me and now they have him stuck him w/crazy delusional Summer. More fast forwarding
