Brooke how do I loathe thee, let me count the ways. (A little tribute to poets.)

She's sitting in Ridge's office practically purring with that stupid self satisfied look on her face. She is getting her own way. She launched into a Thomas rant and shut it down when Ridge growled. When will he open his eyes?

Is there nothing she wouldn't do to manipulate? Stephanie called her an opportunist. How right she was. She is robbing her daughter of happiness to live a second place life with a waffler.

But she won't be getting her way for long. Hope doesn't know that Liam won't forgive her. I must have missed the part where he told Hope he wants her back...was that before or after he professed his love to Steffy? lol Hope should know so much better than to take any type of relationship advice from her mother. And Liam's driving force is purely his hatred of Thomas. Will Hope be pregnant with Thomas' child? I certainly hope so...

Liam needs to pull his head out of whatever orifice he shoved it and get real. The woman he professed his love is married to and very much wants to work things out with her husband.

Liam is smugly congratulating himself on nipping Hope's affair with Thomas in the bud for Beth. Well, he needs to do the same himself where Steffy is concerned. Instead of putting the moves on an ex-wife who is still married to another man that shares her son, Hayes with he.

The last thing I want is for Hope to be pregnant by Thomas. If she is pregnant, I want it to be by Liam.

The one thing I hope comes out of Hope's fling with Thomas is that he closes the door on any fascination with her and starts seeing other women, that he finds one with whom he can have a healthy marriage and that they raise Douglas together.

I like the chemistry Hope and Thomas share, but I believe it's better that they lead their own lives with this unrequited love undercurrent. Have occasional moments where it's touched on, but no longer acted upon. The sense of how they would be if Thomas had not kept Beth a secret and if Hope had not gone after Douglas in retaliation.

I agree and now that Liam finally told Hope it's over, she can now resume her relationship with Thomas, a man who will only love her.

How can Ridge just stand there and take all that Brooke is saying about his son? What kind of father is Ridge? I could just smack him, as he stands there silently, while Brooke is acting like she's in heaven, thinking about Liam and Hope reuniting. She makes it clear, that she could not care less about Ridge's son, and he just sits there silently, letting her go on and on!

Oh, Ridge is keeping silent but i think he was seething inside and talking to himself about how she is so off base because she knows
what Liam told Ridge that he is in love with Steffy and can't understand why he would ever let her go. Part of him is angry but another
part of him knows that Hope probably should not have taken advice from Brooke because she is going to be heartbroken to get turned
down by Liam after she kicks Thomas to the curb.

I loathe Brooke, but I really loathe Ridge and the way he allows her to go on and on about his son! It's disgusting. I think I hate him more for allowing it than her doing it in the first place. You couldn't talk about my kid like that. Not that much love for someone in the world! And believe me, Brooke would never tolerate it if the situation was reversed. I don't care how bad Thomas is, his father is a straight up loser for allowing the badmouthing. Again, disgusting on Ridge's part!

Well, Ridge has a limited understanding that Brooke resents Thomas for breaking up Bridge by framing her for that CPS call. I say limited, because Brooke has resented Thomas since he was a newborn. And of the Tridge Kids, Brooke also resents Thomas, because he was the first born which delayed Brooke from achieving her Destiny with Ridge.

In any case, Brooke feels comfortable bashing Thomas in Ridge's presence now. Ridge dumped Taylor at the altar to get back with her the moment he found out the CPS call was fake. She feels like Ridge took her side. He went back to her without any conditions and he is planning to remarry her.

Now Ridge needs to do himself and the Tridge Kids a favor. He needs to join with Brooke in making Liam return to Hope and he needs to encourage Steffy to work things out with Finn and for Thomas to find a woman of his own.

Stella_Bella I don't know if I think Ridge is a good parent, but I totally agree that he's a better one than Brooke. She's the absolute worst, and has encouraged and manipulated and browbeat Hope at every turn to control her choices. She's the worst - and that's just with Hope. Bring in what she did to Bridget, and how she's treated the other kids, and it's awful. I wish she would just keep her nose out of all of this - she can deal with her own relationship disasters.

There isn't much ridge can say when he knows Thomas has done some bad things to get daughter. However, he might suspect but he doesn't know the deliberate crap hope has pulled on Thomas.

Ridge doesn't think that steffy is going to Liam so there's a chance that lope will reconcile. Ridge just thinks hope shouldn't be so quick to bounce from one man to the other, that she should think before acting and the possible ramifications.

When Liam says no, I expect to run over and blast steffy for interfering in hopes marriage and preventing her happiness.

There is plenty everyone could say about Brooke and her constant diatribe about Thomas. She pushed him off a cliff. Hope pushed him in a vat. There are so many ways that she has been wrong yet she keeps talking about Thomas. She blames him for Beth. She ignores those who were responsible and blames the person who didn't know for six months. Her nerve is ridiculous and Ridge is a fool for letting her get by with it. They really do deserve each other.

She should be honest and admit she has resented Thomas since Taylor showed the infant to Ridge. She'd been trying desperately to hide the truth from Ridge.

Agree. Brooke has always been smug, condescending, judgemental, hypocritical, hateful & rude when it comes to Ridge & Taylor's children. That's nothing new. But the way Ridge just allows it, is pathetic. Why would anyone want to be with someone who loathes their children 🤷♀️
