Brooke is the one who brought up Stephanie and made the first "salty" remark. Taylor just replied in kind. Taylor is giving it back as good as she gives it. By the way, TPTB made the biggest mistake they could have ever made when when they decided to have a Stephanie pod for her final scenes. Totally ruined the scenes.

Stephanie and Brooke being friends at the end was complete and utter nonsene.
Which would never ever had happened if Ridge or Taylor had been on the show at that time.

Funny, I thought this thread was about me!

I will never buy the "Brooke and Stephanie always loved each other" statement and felt that completely changing Stephanie's character was a betrayal of who she was and the things she stood for. Maybe if Brooke had actually changed her ways to live up to Stephanie's expectations, I could have been persuaded, but Brooke was in Bill's arms hours after Stephanie died.

I've always believed that they chose to have the reconciliation because KKL and SF were such good friends, but bringing that into the characters was wrong.

I completely agree with what you said. Brooke should never have been at Stephanies side when she passed. It would have made more sense to have Steffy at her side and pass down the take care of the family to her.

Like stated above, if Brooke had actually changed in the time leading up to her death OR after promising Stephanie she would change and blah blah it would be different.

Brooke was making out with her sister's husband hours later in the exact SPOT where she died.

She basically SPAT at Stephanie's death and that "love and promises" garbage. With her sister's husband's spit mixed in.

So happy to see Taylor get called out for the rabid hypocrite she is. Whining that Brooke has Eric in her corner cheerleading for Bridge when we all know the desperate, ILLEGAL lengths to which Stephanie went to for a Tridge reunion in the past.

I wish we got more of this kind of scene. Usually Brooke (or Hope) just have to stand there and take it while Taylor and her awful children drag out all the Logans' past sins (often misremembering them) but Brooke cannot bring up even one of Taylor or Steffy's sins.

Oh, and Bridge aren't divorced yet. So Taylor sticking her tongue down Ridge's throat is surely an unforgivable SIN just like Hope's dalliance with Liam after he left Steffy for cheating on him with his own dad, but hadn't completed the legal divorce. Right? RIGHT?

No one can compare filthyness with Brooke Logan. She made a career of it, which is just fine.

But she used it to use any man around her to prove she was the most "desirable " and targeted any woman in her path, starting with her mother and ending with her sister after plowing over both her daughters and many others like Taylor and Macy.

And her alleged "regrets" change nothing...I neither like nor dislike Brooke, but at the very least she is usually convinced she's in love when she has sex. Steffy just went after everyone Hope ever wanted, entirely because Hope wanted them.

Chris Bill and Liam both sought Steffy out; she wasn't pursuing them. In fact, she didn't even try to influence Liam with her pregnancy when he asked for time to choose between her and Hope on his own. And whenever Liam has been in a married relationship with Hope, she has respected that and actually supported them. She defended Hope when Liam was claiming that Hope had betrayed him and his marriage was over, and she encouraged him to go home and even offered to call Thomas to get to the bottom of the situation.

Compare that to Hope's declaring her love for Liam when he and Steffy were separated....her calling Steffy toxic and telling him that he could never trust her again and using her pregnancy to pressure him even while he was living and sharing a bed with Steffy.

I absolutely enjoyed that scene.
I actually gave the writers kudos for adding that to the script.
And it was so true, the part about Stephanie being Taylor's champion (paraphrased).
I loved it.

Stephanie choosing Brooke at the end, was a total re-write, and a totally unbelievable one at that! Any viewer that knew the character of Stephanie, and her feelings about Brooke, know that she would NEVER choose Brooke over anything or anyone, especially not Taylor! That's bull, and the viewers knew it then, just as they know it now!
