Has LA traffic turned so bad now?
Is Liam going back and forth between places several times?
Or is Liam taking the scenery bus tour?

When I google that distance Mullholland Dr. and Malibu with the travel calculator rome2rio.com,
it states that it takes 32 minutes by car or taxi and shows a route driving mullholland drive, Bell Air, Brentwood, Santa Monica, Malibu.

Went home: 32 minutes
Back to Steffy's to play hero: 32 minutes
To get back home: 32 minutes
Total time: 2 hours, 13 minutes without traffic

That's why I asked.
If it ever takes Liam just 5-6 hours to "drive" from one daughter to the other (not even spending any time with them),
then they all better move to some other town, or all to the same area (neighborhood).

@Terileeh
On (soap) B&B they rarely have to deal with traffic jams (even seem to kinda teleport from one place to the other in no time).
I can believe that LA traffic is horrible, but 5-6 hours for driving Mullholland Dr. sounds like an exaggeration.
Why would anyone then even voluntarily go repeatedly for and back the same day, if they would then spend a quarter or a fifth of the day just driving?
If they had to deal with serious traffic, I doubt that Liam even would be able to go from one place to the other so often
- considering that he is also supposed to work
- and also has a wife and children at the cabin
(We had Thomas and Oliver in 2013 already advising Steffy to stay at the beach house with them because of a traffic jam - and instead she took her bike).

He just annoyed me. Blah blah blah. Go home to your wife Liam. Stop with offering to be a father to Finn's kid. I found that just tone deaf and awful.
I thought it was insensitive of him to stay when Steffy went through Finn's effects. Isn't that why Taylor is there, for support through those tough moments. Yet she's absent.. Where is she, stuck to Ridge like the Stage IV clinger she's turned into?

Taylor had a pre arranged appointment to see Ridge and for them both to confront Thomas. They then discussed why Thomas had kept quiet and what to do about it. At which point Brooke who hasn’t been to work for months and had no pre arranged meeting with Ridge appeared. Hard to see how that can be interpreted as Taylor being a Stage IV clinger.

So that couldn't be put off?
Taylor should be supporting Steffy, not driving off with Ridge. She's practically surgically attached to him. Her daughter is fresh out of the hospital. They can confront ThomS any time. It's not like he's going anywhere. Her priority really seems to be Ridge, not Steffy.
But, don't think police keep the evidence until trial?

I agree Liam needs to go home but Steffy is in a very vulnerable state so needs someone to hold on to. Her parents and brother should be doing that but are not. Taylor is fine with Liam being that person. She had already stated that Steffy needed Liam more than ever. So Taylor is encouraging this instead of having a conservation with Liam and telling him to let her family take care of Steffy.

I am glad that Steffy has more people being there for her. She is grieving losing the man she completely loves and still loves very much. Her mom is there for her and her dad was there for her but he left because he didn't want to make her evil step mother unhappy with him being there for his child. Brooke didn't like that so he moved out instead of being there for Steffy. Thomas just got back and is talking to their parents about everything. Taylor and Ridge are talking about Thomas right now. Brooke is stalking Ridge to get him to come home and away from the family she hates. So I am glad that at least Liam even though I can't stand him is being there for her. She needs someone to just let her cry to them.

I am not one to defend Liam I don’t see any problem at this point with him being there. If it was reversed and Liam was married to Steffy and Hope lost her husband I think he would be doing the same thing.
As for her leaning on Ridge and Taylor she is even though Brooke doesn’t seem to think he should be there so much . Even under the circumstances . I would actually be surprised if he wasn’t around at all.

This is a very rare occasion, in which I stand up for Liam. I can understand Liam wanting to be there for the kids. He knows what it is like to lose a parent and to also grow up not knowing his father.
Steffy is devastated over the loss of Finn and needs someone to lean on. Thomas is Awol. Ridge is too busy trying to decide which woman he wants, then there is Taylor...

I get that he is a pretty easy target, but what is the guy doing that is so wrong? Liam and Steffy are friends and have been for years independent of their romantic relationship. He is doing and being what any good friend should and would do. He’s not overstepping or being pushy. If he was a girl or any one else, no one would have a issue with it.
Everybody talk about this great support system that Steffy supposedly have, but who are those people? Literally three people, her mom, dad, and Thomas. Ridge left and hasn’t returned, Thomas has been seen once at the house. These three people also have life that they have to take care of themselves. So again, where is this great support system everyone is talking about? Not her Grant aunt Pam, not her granddad Eric, not Bill, not her cousin Zen, etc.
And the reality is, as great as her mom and dad is, not everything you want to tell your parents. Sometimesyou can be more raw and vulnerable with a friend than you can with your family. Liam has been a good friend and support, that’s all he has been show doing. It is a whole heck of a lot more than the rest of Steffy’s so-called family, outside of the mentioned three, has done for her.

I completely agree with all you that you have said. I see Liam right now being the best friend that he has always been to Steffy, It may lead to more or it may not. But right now, If I were Steffy I would not want to be alone at all, and currently Mom and Dad are taking care of some other important issues. Taylor will be home soon.
