CLOUDFARE Security Message

Over the past few days you may have received a "Checking if the site connection is secure" message when accessing the site. This is perfectly normal and not cause for alarm.

This message indicates that the server is confirming that the SSL (the "s" that you see in the https before web addresses) security is, in fact, secure. This is not some sort of advertisement and it is not some sort of nefarious hacking.

Cloudfare, which is a provide of web hosting and security, has recently added this layer of security on the Soap Central message boards platform as an added layer of security.

The message may occur any time that your browser makes a new connection to the boards. The message may also stop appearing at any time as the process is further integrated into the boards.

    Bold Classic Season 4 will premier May 29th

    I just saw that Bold classic Season 4 will air May 29th on CBS official B&B YouTube channel. Season 3 just wrapped up with Brooke having confessed to her mother that she slept with Eric.

    Season 4 of B&B will cover the years 1990-1991, in this season we will see the introduction of Dr. Taylor Hayes, the death of Caroline Spenser, and the war between Stephanie and Brooke reaching new heights over Eric.

    Oh boy, I cant wait. I am halfway thru season 2 right now. Brooke is something esle. I guess any way to snag a forrester.

      She moved into Stephanie’s house while encouraging her mother to jump eric’s bones..then she complains about how Stephanie treated her..she’s insufferable

          It's great that they continue with Season 4! Hopefully we'll eventually get all the classic years of B&B.

          These old episodes are SO MUCH BETTER than the current ones, it's like a completely different show.

          I wonder why they choose to wait until the 29th to continue uploading since they usually do it daily.

              It's literally like 2 different shows.

              You can also see the change in budget over the years. The accident between Todd and "Angela" was so graphic and detailed. There was a scene of Sally walking Caroline through the actual Spectra factory leading up to her office. We see everyone's home. Margo, Bill, Kristin and Clarke, The Forrester Mansion, Forrester Creations, the diner, Spectra Fashions, Spencer Publications...everything has a set.

              The pacing of the show is also different. I've been hooked because something is accomplished with each episode. I've seen maybe a month's worth of episodes, and in that month, Stephanie found out the truth about Angela's deception, Angela and Todd blackmail the Forresters, Sally offers Clarke a job, Clarke and Kristin's marriage crumbles, The introduction of Russ Tanner, Margo and Bill, Margo's investigation into Kristin's life in NY, Macy's arrival to LA and introduction into the show, Todd's suicide..all within the span of less than a month.

              Each episode is interesting, even with the characters I'm not invested in (Ridge, Brooke, Donna, Bill Sr)

              I never thought I'd find Clarke Garrison and Kristin Forrester as an interesting couple, based upon my memory of those two characters from the early 2000's.

              I'm not bashing the current show. I'm just amazed at the pacing, the relational aspect of the characters, the storylines aren't all revolving around triangles. I know the actors and writers weren't too taken with the Angela storyline, but I find it extremely interesting and something I've never seen done on a soap before...not even since this. And there aren't a lot of flashbacks from the previous episode's conversations. The characters aren't repeating the same dialogue every day. And there is movement in the storyline with each show. And to think, back then, the Bell soaps were notorious for mind numbingly slow storylines. B&B seems much faster paced than Y&R was at the time.

                Yes, I am amazed at the difference in narrative structure. Each and every scene in these early shows contains some kind of turning point, story development or character development. Every episode ends in a way that makes you want to watch the next show. Every single character has their OWN storyline (and often more than one).

                By comparison, the current shows become even more frustrating to watch.
