She could be a little nicer to Steffy and respect her place as Finn’s wife. She supposedly had Finn cremated in record time and now won’t discuss any details regarding scattering ashes or a memorial service. She’ll take care of everything regarding her son. And if he is still alive that’s no excuse either. Treat Steffy with some kindness and respect!

It’s worse that she’s letting Steffy think he’s dead! It’s not her place to be making all the decisions behind Steffy’s back. -
steffy was in no condition to consult with her - she had to act fast! i have no problem with what she did and would have done the same to save my child. i am sure she will explain it all. -
Sure, not in the moment, but no excuse since Steffy has been home. Steffy even mentioned she had reached out to her and Li did not respond.

Does Jack know and if so, why wasn't he there with comatose Finn? Was Finn alone or is there a nurse watching him while she was
gone?
The whole scenario is so strange. Why can't she tell Steffy he is alive? She did sound angry but is she angry with Steffy and Taylor?
Maybe she does feel they are somewhat to blame for what happened to Finn.Comment

lovely rita I did get a bit of that vibe, like she might blame the Forresters, along with Sheila, for blowing up her whole life and hurting her son. Otherwise if you want to keep the secret from Steffy for whatever (unjustifiable imo but that’s another topic) reason, why not be warm to Steffy, hug her, ask nicely if she would mind postponing a memorial service and say you can’t even talk about his ashes yet? I am also wondering about Jack…but right now think it’s more likely Li has him gagged and bound in a closet rather than that they are helping Finn together. ? We shall see.

I felt bad for Li with Shelia on the scene and I chalked it up to Jack and Li not being particularly well written . That said I have with the exception of a few scenes have found Li rather cold and formal. Jack kind of weak. I wanted to give Li every benefit of the doubt but maybe it’s why Finn was so curious about his biological parents . Maybe some warmth and tenderness was missing. Li might be concerned but not very affectionate or playful as a mother. She seems quite formidable so maybe not the easiest person in way to be close to.Comment

Seeing That justified Steffy's stand and proved her right. Steffy was a victim of a deranged bully who kills if she's even confronted. To me Sheila was always a danger and her actions proved Steffy was dead on with her assessment.Comment

She’s being a Mom people and considering after years of raising him her bonehead husband didn’t tell her he’d cheated and has an affair with a whole nut…I’m not mad right now. But she can go kick rocks if she’s still tripping later. Hopefully Finn won’t have amnesia because there’s no way he’s staying away from Steffy and his son and step daughter .Comment

My take was Li can’t hear talk or think of Finn being dead. She was perfectly fine with Steffy talking about Hayes and hearing the news about Sheila. She’s not ready to tell Steffy about Finn yet because Steffy is already grieving and Finn isn’t close to being out of the woods yet. Why get Steffy’s hopes up only to make her once again winding up grieving. I do not think she blames anyone but Sheila for turning Finn’s life upside down and then ending it. Once Finn improves more, I’m sure she’ll contact Steffy. She would never just let Hayes grow up without his father.Comment

But all of that is not a justifiable explanation. You think Steffy wouldn’t want to spend what remainder of fins life at his bedside, or give his kids and everyone else the chance to say goodbye? And the foresters and spencers have a lot of money and influence, they could fly in specialists and all medical personnel that Finn would need. -
I wasn’t trying to justify her actions, just explain that her actions were not meant to be mean or nasty to Steffy since that was this thread is about. Li is a surgeon who I’m sure knows plenty of specialists she can call in to help her if she needs them, so I doubt if money or medical resources are things she’s basing her decision on. I do think there will be issues between Steffy and Li about the decision in the future; and I certainly hope Li will see exactly where Steffy is coming from. -
Because Steffy is his WIFE and she legally should be making the decisions, not Li. Li is dead wrong. I don't hate her, but I am appalled by her behavior. She has no right to be doing what she's doing.

Perhaps Li is hiding Finn because she feared the shooter would come back to finish him off if he knew Finn survived. That's the only thing that makes sense to me.Comment

I'm thinking that the reason Li didn't tell Steffy that Finn was still alive was because he perhaps technically died/flatlined and she found a way to keep him alive; however, she may have thought the chances were extremely low that he would survive intact or at all. I agree she also feared the shooter would find him, especially if Steffy knew and went to visit him, Sheila following.Comment

He was pronounced dead at the scene by the EMTs and covered up and taken away. None of this makes sense. Somehow she had some random L.A. EMTs in her pocket to say he was dead, and this hide him away? This is the kind of thing I expect to see on DOOL or GH, not B&B. -
Good point. I hope they explain how it came about that makes a little bit of sense. I have heard that sometimes they do make mistakes in pronouncing people dead when they are still alive but their vitals are low.
