Brooke at the jail makes no sense.

How is it that Baker decides that Brooke is allowed to visit, and Sheila isn't able to refuse? Why did the guard ignore Sheila when she said that she wanted to leave?

Even worse, why is Brooke making threats to Sheila? Didn't she learn how dangerous it is to threaten a psychopath?

guess Brooke thinks she is safe with Sheila in prison - Brooke is the same, has to get the last word. Yep, makes me think what is next from Sheila

In real life Sheila could have refused to see Brooke. But this is B & B so apparently Sheila is forced to see whoever wants to give her a piece of their mind. I'm sure she will have more visitors.

They had to find a reason to insert Brooke, after 4 months of her crying and zzzzz.

It was ridiculous. Sheila read Brooke like a book. She instantly picked up that Brooke was there about the champagne bottle label and what happened to her marriage and not her “outrage” about Finn, Steffy, and their family. And after Brooke’s threat, Sheila makes a threat that visibly rattles Brooke. She should have stayed her behind home and off rage fueled radar.

I loved it when Sheila made that connection, and you could see that it caused Brooke to be startled. That's when she turned on the threats saying that she would make sure that Sheila had no further contact with Steffy ever again. And Sheila is the crazy one?

I mute and leave the room to do other things until I'm sure Logans are off screen. I will only watch Taylor, Steffy, Ridge with Taylor, Quinn and Carter. Thank God for mute button and chores to do around the house.

RedheadTeacher Sheila shot Steffy and killed her son. Not to mention all her evil atrocities in the past. The woman suffers from a chronic mental disorder. She is clearly a psychopath. Should we give this woman praise and a pass for making that statement to Brooke.

              Bolded for emphasis.

              "Sheila is the crazy one"?
Should we assume that Sheila is not really the crazy one here -- that would be Brooke because of the "no further contact" statement she made in regards to Steffy.

RedheadTeacher Both Ridge and Steffy threatened Sheila to a much larger degree than Brooke did. Are they on the crazy list as well. They had the right to lash out and vent -- That includes Brooke.

Sheila has never had any rational human remorse for anything she has ever done. That said, I don't believe Sheila's refusal to show any sympathy or apologize came as a surprise to Brooke.

Brooke had the satisfaction of seeing Sheila as an incarcerated handcuffed. jail inmate being escorted in and out by jail guards. That was all the satisfaction she needed.

Reesiecup While Steffy was even physical with Sheila, Sheila knew that she couldn't act out against her if she wanted any chance to have a relationship with Finn and Hayes.

Brooke threatened Sheila because was incensed to learn that Deacon had lied and was still on friendly terms with her and that Sheila had spent time with Steffy and Finn on Christmas Eve. Given that Steffy had agreed to that visit, it wasn't Brooke's place to declare that she would make sure that Sheila would never be allowed near "her" family, especially Steffy, Finn, and Hayes again. That's what, for me, made Brooke's threats more dangerous than Steffy or Ridge's.

RedheadTeacher I was referring to the confrontational meeting Ridge and Steffy had with Sheila at the cliff-house shortly before she was arrested. The discussion is about Brooke's jailhouse visit.

Sheila injured three people. Brooke was among one of the three. Ridge and Steffy had the opportunity to derive satisfaction from confronting Sheila at the cliff-house. Brooke should be granted the same opportunity.

Brooke's warning at the time of the Jail visit wasn't all about Steffy. She included other people in that warning. She was not out of place for mentioning Steffy. After all, like it or not, Steffy is Brooke's step-daughter. She has had a close connection via Ridge for most of her life. Sheila injured Steffy the most. Why should Brooke not mention Steffy in her warning to Sheila at the jail.

This. Brooke went there to confront Sheila about what Sheila did to her & her life. After her behavior at the hospital I no longer believe Brooke is sympathetic or worried about Steffy or her children at all

So did Sheila give Brooke a nice big kissy kissy before Brooke left like Sheila did to her daughter Mary when Mary came to prison to see Mommy Dearest?

Taylor knew Steffy hates Sheila but she allowed it.
The hospital should have had limited visitors at least until Steffy felt better but that never happened. IRL things would have been different. IRL jail should be different too but I don't feel bad for Sheila.

I don't feel bad for Sheila either. I just felt like, in the end, Sheila got more satisfaction out of the conversation than Brooke, and I don't think that's what Brooke intended.

RedheadTeacher Do we really expect Brooke to believe she would get sympathy/an apology from a chronically mentally ill psychopath. Brooke went to the jail to see Sheila humiliated by her current surroundings. At the end of the visit, Sheila was led away by guards thrashing around and making threats against Ridge, Steffy and Brooke. I have no doubt Brooke got the results she intended to get.

What I thought was funny was Brooke telling Sheila that Shelia didn't belong out with "normal people" as if Brooke is normal!

Brooke getting on Sheila's face is classic Brooke 101. Her opinion is the only one that counts. This is how the whole thing started. She said she wouldn't allow Sheila in Finns life.

Might as well compound that mistake.

Tip: never confront a sociopath. They will only escalate.

That's what I saw as well.

In reality, Brooke has had absolutely no influence on Steffy's choices regarding Sheila. I don't think that they've even had a conversation about Sheila since the day of Steffy's wedding. Brooke brought up Steffy's family only because she knew it would sound threatening.....and she was right about that.

She poked the sociopath bear in the confrontation at Il Giardino, and chose to do it again yesterday.
