I can't believe how much Steffy is pushing for Ridge and Taylor. She tells Taylor how they reconnected while Ridge was staying at her house. Taylor is looking out the window for Ridge and when he arrives both Taylor and Steffy can't wait to ask about what happened with Brooke. Steffy is pushing so hard for Ridge to stay there.

IDK what will happen, but for sure, Steffy and Thomas pushed very hard to their parents to reconnect and are a big part of the reason that they reconnected so quickly, as well as Steffy getting shot. They manipulated, couldn't wait to tell Ridge about what they assumed happened (even though they had none of the details) and in addition to Deacon, Sheila or Brooke, if not for their actions things might have been different. They claim to want peace and happiness for their father, but in reality, they did all they could to be sure they and their mom would be happy, without a thought to their Dad.

They may not be the kids from the Parent Trap movie, but they sure act like them!

No they won't there dad happy also but they also want there mom happy. They know there dad will never truly be happy with Brooke. Please steffy and Thomas don't want to lose there dad again to Brooke. She hates the when she's with there dad he's not much of a father to them he is all about Brooke and only Brooke

@Taramartin: Yes, it was a few months back when Ridge first left Brooke and moved into Steffy's - Ridge came on to Taylor - they were kissing in Taylor's bedroom and Taylor stopped the kiss and sent Ridge back to Steffy's guesthouse. She basically told Ridge they should take it slow because he had just left Brooke. The next morning Ridge brought Taylor coffee in bed.

It's humiliating for Taylor to have Steffy push for a reconciliation between her parents...Taylor even asked Steffy to stop. Pressuring Ridge one way or the other is not a good way for him to make a decision. He may not care about all the flaws that Steffy mentioned about Brooke. He loves who he loves.

And to add, he should realize he is not above having faults of his own either. I mean, he was flirting with Shauna before he ever got drunk and married her. He moved right in with Steffy when he was angry at Brooke knowing Taylor was there and that would hurt Brooke. I did see Taylor's asking Steffy to stop as halfhearted though. Then she told him she loved him. He needs to be on neutral ground. Glad he's moving out.

While I don't enjoy watching Steffy pressure Ridge, I know that he's already received (and will like get dumped on again) pressure from Hope, Liam, and Eric to return to Brooke.

Steffy's had a front row seat watching her father alternate between anger and misery. Who wants that for their dad? She's seen a completely different demeanor from Ridge since he walked out on Brooke, and I can't blame her for pushing him to appreciate that.

Even before Tylor had returned, we had Steffy already pushing for her parent's reunion, for Ridge to leave Brooke,
that had already been Steffy's line before they even learned about the Brooke-Deacon kiss or that Deacon had stayed the night.

That's what has lead to Steffy's pushing him toward walking away from the toxic cycle that his relationship with Brooke has become.

taramartin Usually the fact that a marriage is at stake would matter to me but I can't help remembering the YEARS of Brooke trying to break up Ridge and Taylor, even while they had young children. It is very much at the front of my mind. I just see it as what goes around, comes around. Brooke has never respected any marriage, including her own.
