They just witness Shiela who was the mother of Finn get arrested for murdering him in their home on top of that Taylor had to face the fact how she got deeply played by Shiela but instead of having a following discussion of that and showing Taylor frustration of that and Steffy anger still over Shiela arrest and Finns, we have both women yapping about ridge the OG waffler on who he should decide between Brooke or Taylor but yet were suppose to force fed that they are so strong, such strong women. There is not one strong woman on this show. The only strong woman the show had was Stephanie, after she died off, the show forgot what strong women were. I would say Bridgette seems to be strong independent woman as I dont even believe she has a man and it just her kid and career and she seems to doing well and being happy but I cant say the same for the others.

I think it was a shame that they let go the character that crashed her car when taking a message to someone...sorry if forget who the message was for or what it was about. I believe she was Justin Barber's niece. She had potential as a strong woman coming into her own. I didn't mind Taylor and Steffy diverting from constantly talking about the tragedy, and acknowledging how it affected so many lives. I don't believe anyone has to be strong all the time, men or women.

taramartin ~ thank you for refreshing my memory. Emma was a good character; they didn't have to kill her off. I had forgotten about Thomas and that secret he held onto...hmmmm....deja vu.

It's all connected and an acknowledgment to a reality. I wonder why they didn't mention Thomas' role in keeping the secret? Maybe they will.

Why don't they discuss a funeral or memorial service for Steffy's dead husband instead of Ridge and who he will choose and how wonderful Taylor will make things for him?
Ridge's love life should be the very, very last thing on Steffy's mind right now. She has things to do, young children to console, and she's got to get started on putting Finn's estate through probate. She could use both physical therapy and mental health therapy to help her process her grief and life changes. And Taylor should be redirecting her to that instead of mooning over Ridge to her adult daughter.
I do agree that neither Taylor or Steffy are strong women. I think they're weak and codependent and they both encourage that in each other.

I think with Steffy focusing on her mom and her dad‘s relationship it is a way for her to distract herself from her feelings about Finn. It looks like we will see her greiving soon but I think she’s trying to think of other things that all doesn’t come crashing down.

But there has to be respectful disposal of Finn's remains within a certain time frame. It's been close to a week if not more now. If Steffy can't deal with planning a funeral or memorial service, then she should ask Li. It's bizarre to just leave his body in the county morgue yet be sitting there chatting about her dad's live life.
As a "reknowned" psychiatrist, Taylor should be able to gently redirect her and help if necessary with arrangements with the funeral home, meeting with a lawyer to start probate, and the other things that need to be done rather than talking about Ridge's Choice. Instead, Taylor keeps it going and that's just not healthy.
This is a huge failing on the show's part but it's reflecting badly on some of the characters.Last edited by bluejazz; May 19, 2022, 11:40 AM.

All these talented, successful, stunning women AND men that are perpetually stuck in this teenage high-school loop of nonsense!
There are other problems in life than love triangles. Even a MURDER seems like a just subplot for yet another triangle.

After reading about all the recent events on B&B I still got a vivid image in my mind of those mirror optical illusions - the ones where the image just keeps going on and on and on into the distance.. The same image but just repeated over and over again. The triangles feel like the same deal, unfortunately.

I’m just going to chalk it up to bad writing as always. We won’t get scenes of that we get scenes and months and months of why Brooke drunk, why Ridge left! Hope and Liam marriage how she can’t handle Liam spending to much time with Steffy. All stories lead right back to Brooke and her love life.
