I think the sand is shifting for Brooke

This is a bit of a stretch, but hear me out.

I do not think that Ridge is going back to Brooke, not right away at least.

The show currently has a Brooke fan club of Deacon, Bill and Ridge. Taylor currently has a fan club of Ridge. If Ridge were to remain with Brooke, that would leave Taylor without any man in her corner. Brooke on the other hand would have Ridge at her side with Bill and Deacon longing for her in the shadows.

I know this show can be a bit ridiculous at times, but I cannot see Ridge erasing from his mind the past few months he has spent with Taylor, Thomas and Steffy. I think his love for Taylor has been reignited and even though he is still married to Brooke I do not think at this time he can easily switch off his feelings for Taylor.

So while Brooke is acting like a dog with a bone, she is still accommodating Deacon in the home that she and Ridge share. The problem is still there and then you have Bill sizing up the dressmaker as to what his intentions are.

So mathematically speaking Brooke's character does not need Ridge, apart from him being her husband. With the right amount of interaction, she can easily bounce to Deacon or Bill if circumstances arise. Taylor on the other hand only has eyes for Ridge and he is the only one who is showing her that support.

Ridge could barely leave Taylor's side after the arrest to tell Brooke why she drank the alcohol. That to me says a lot.

It may take the rest of the year but I think Ridge's feelings for Brooke are changing.

I understand most of your points.
As far as Ridge barely able to leave Taylor's side to go to Brooke - I did not see it that way at all. I felt he was reluctant to leave his wounded and recently widowed daughter. (I would hope so!).
I am thinking this might be the time for TK's break.
I have not seen joy and laughter between Taylor and Ridge - recently they have been dealing with the tragedy. Prior to that Ridge was upset about Brooke and listening to the chorus of Steffy and Thomas wanting him to take Taylor back. Taylor mostly hung back listening wistfully to her kids - eventually she asked them to stop. Ridge was also not pleased with Taylor's involvement with Sheila and he has been proven right for his concern.

I hope he never goes back. How many more days will this toxic and verbally abusive relationship be allowed? Ridge holds her purse, she hates his children and their "love' or "destiny" is just a bunch of lust. The also have no chemistry together.

      Team Tridge!

I am with you, Taylor and Ridge have chemistry. Brooke - not so much.

I agree OP, I think Bill was there today questioning Ridges love and loyalty for a reason. I think it’s foreshadowing of what’s to come. I think we are getting ready for round, whatever number we are on, of Brill

I hope he choose taylor, she is ripe for the pickin' , because the who doesn't end up with Ridge is the real winner here.

I hope it's for that matter,Taylor this time. She has nothing else better to do, but to pine for a married man, and will be hurt in the end for it.

Will not last, and then we will get to see Taylor again hurt in the end, since Ridge is going to still want his Logan. I just want it over with. Please Choose Taylor.

Choose Taylor this time Ridge, please, so you're then that much closer, to betray her, and seeing Ridge acting really jealous when you're to see her with Bill

or the next one, shall be good tv for me to watch.

Just choose Taylor, then we all can move on from the SL. This storyline has to end already, been forever, or so it feels. Just choose Taylor, why not. Will not last long anyway. Give taylor her Ridge for now, just get a divorce first, because I do not to see Taylor even weaker, by sleeping with a married man. No fun in my eyes watching that mess. Just divorce first. Then, have sex. Leave Taylor with some shred of dignity, morals, she has somewhere inside of her, by divorcing first.
The real winner shall be the 1 woman standing, without breaking, and realizing she is better than being with a guy like that, only to be hurt anyway when all is said and done. Guess we will know soon. I hope he choose for that matter, TAYLOR.

Hi Tara. Yes. I agree. I co-sign. Ridge, if he choose the more willing 1 sitting around desperate waiting for him to "choose" he is not going to be happy, long term with that type. Brooke excite me for as he said his "entire life." Ridge is more vivacious, high-spirited, fun, and all around Ridge 1 life time desire. Bell shown us all this a long time. I know what is going to happen, but hoping at least for now it's Taylor.(seriously)have ZERO stake in it, but i want it to happen, because the real winner, then will be the lucky one and that's not her & you're 100000% right. Ridge hasn't shown any happy(real happiness)with all too willing "ooooh pick me, pick me" Taylor. I already wrote how i feel. The true winner here, will be the one who(does not) end up with Ridge. So,l hope for that matter he choose Taylor.

I think it would be interesting to see Taylor and Bill together. They seem like opposites in many ways and I bet there could be some real sparks between them.

I agree with you. My biggest gripe about this show is that they never allowed Taylor to move on from Ridge even though the writers had pulled the trigger, so to speak, for Bridge. The most egregious example of this was with Nick. Taylor and Nick (and Jack Wagner and Hunter Tylo) had great chemistry as a couple.

Had the writers developed Trick or Naylor (whatever the acronym of the time) by having Felicia Forrester die of cancer after having Nick's daughter adopted by Taylor and that being the original reason they became close, then good writing could have evolved from Trick/Naylor weathering Taylor's feelings of violation and paranoia after Brooke's egg was "accidentally" substituted for the donor egg.

I am clueless as to why the show walked away from creating two dynamic couples with history of love and rivalry with the other partners only to scuttle that to return to a triangle most viewers were sick of. Of course IMO, this show jumped the shark by bringing Bridget back as Brooke's whipped daughter cheerleader for Brooke. Ugh.

Because then they had to change Ridge's paternity to put him with Bridget When they could have gone with Ridge and Macy. Bill and Taylor is another intriguing road not taken.

I agree but my head is spinning lol with all that history as I wasn't watching way back then. It's getting boring to see the 2 women going back and forth with Ridge. At least Brooke had a bit of a change when she was with Bill in recent years, but I can't think of anyone that Taylor has been with, same issue with the other threesome, hopefully that doesn't start up again.

It's time for some fresh meat for Brooke. I'm thinking Li divorces Jack, Ridge divorces Brooke and viola Jack and Brooke get together.

Ridge didn’t leave Brooke because she drank, he left because of the lying when she was sober and her continuing to have Deacon around and defending him.
