I think so too. And why wouldn't Paris have primary custody of her own baby? She has a good job, and I am sure great benefits. She has her own place or can find one. I get she acts immature at times but I am sure she would get serious if she had a baby. By the looks of it if she were pregnant by Carter she would make damn sure he knew and Zende would be "Zende who?"

Oh my lord. I can't even begin to fathom middle age forties, or just about middle age 38 or 39, but maybe forties, same thing to me, but anyway, I can't envision Carter, at all raising a child with a girl, a young lady 23 maybe or younger, a child.

I would not want it, but if it does occur, I don't think Paris is mature enough yet, so I am voting for (seriously) I just chose Grace. I like her. Let Grandma Grace raise the baby girl or boy, or twins, while Carter helps out as the father until we see Paris mature a little bit. I want her back on too. A lovely woman that Grace. I liked her since appearing on As the World Turns.

I'm confused. Why wouldn't Paris and Carter raise their own child? Giving away this fictional baby or keeping it from one parent in favor of another seems odd.

Paris and Carter have both acted immaturely lately (like every other character), but they aren't dangerous or bad people. They've both been shown to be kind and caring. We saw Paris hands on with Hayes and Kelly, and she was wonderful with them. If this imaginary kid came to exist, it should be raised by both of it's very capable parents.

Couldn't vote because Paris is not listed separately. She would be, after all, the mother and as the mother she doesn't need to be with Zende or Carter to raise a child.

I didn't vote either. If Paris ends up pregnant, then she should raise her child. She wants to play big girl games, she needs to have big girl consequences. Carter will do the right thing and be a responsible father, but he should not be with a "girl" who he is not in love with just for the sake of the child. It never works out. She will of course try to trap him but he should not give in.

I think she means that the situation is unappealing (two unmarried people, who are not committed to each other, having a baby that they aren't ready for).

The baby, however, would probably be adorable.
