Still not seeing how Brooke is a prize. She seems more like a sexual prize to men. Her personality is mean, she backstabbed her own daughter and sisters. I just can't for the life of me understand why this character is put on a pedestal and has all these man fawning over her. I find Quinn, Taylor, Steffy to all be much more interesting as women!

What a joke. She's no more important than any other female on this show.

Brooke lives to hear how gorgeous she is and most importantly, how sexy she is. Ridge always tells her that. She is vain and needs to hear all
these compliments which tells her she is the chosen one. I would say she has no self esteem. Ridge always chose other women over her and
she always had to fight for his attention.

Sopranojenn Brooke imo is only stating what she truly believes (that this is her fault). How Deacon responds is his own choice and not something Brooke can know beforehand.

I don’t remember the episode about Brooke’s Bedroom so I don’t know how she meant the comment but I don’t see Brooke as someone truly confident so if she did say she wasn’t good enough to be the model then I believe she was being sincere.

Sopranojenn Your post reminded me of Brooke's behavior with Bill. She was irate because Eric and Taylor were together, and she was sure that Taylor targeted Eric and was using him. Katie was dealing with her PPD after effects, and Bill and Brooke were spending time together. They were afraid that Taylor would have too much influence at FC, and the idea of a relaunch of Brooke's Bedroom was discussed. That lead to this conversation:

Brooke: Who would model it?
Bill: Who else?
Brooke: Not me.
Bill: Why not?
Brooke: [Scoffs] I'm too old.
Bill: You're not too old. What are you talking about? You're as sexy as ever.
Brooke: I'm a mother.
Bill: Mothers can't be sexy?
Brooke: Look, I love lingerie, and just because I'm wearing some right now doesn't mean I consider myself a model.
Bill: Let me be the judge of that.
Brooke: [Chuckling] Really? So you're gonna give me your professional opinion?
Bill: Nothing but. Consider it market research.
Brooke: [Sighs]
Bill: Not bad.
Brooke: [Chuckles] "Not bad"? That's it?
Bill: You look amazing... and you know it.
Brooke: It feels good to hear that from a man. It's been so long.

Yes, Brooke knows how to play up her sexuality and get compliments. She's a pro at it! And then she had the audacity to criticize Katie for suspecting that she and Bill were having an inappropriate relationship. Go figure.

Sopranojenn - Brooke did that with Bill and took her clothes off for him in her sister's house. Bill was the one who told her to relaunch her line. Then as she as she got Bill be flew out of Monte Carlo without doing hte launch and p=meeting the press and dropped her line. On the plane ride out she and Donna mocked and trashed Katie.

She is vain and a narcissist. We are suppose to believe a woman who betrayed her daughter is the woman of any man's dreams? She couldn't be loyal to her blood daughter and sisters.

Brooke has had Ridge begging and kissing her butt now for some time. She gets compliments all the time. Deacon is forbidden that’s the appeal. This tired vixen thing doesn’t work because IMO there are at least three other women on the show she doesn’t hold a candle to . If the show had not abruptly put Steffy back in the kiddie pool with Liam and Hope, Brill would never have existed. Still was hotter than any scene with Brill and Steffy was poised to knock Brooke down several pegs on the ladder . JMW was carrying the show on her back. Brooke is a one note wonder with her destiny!

Brooke is the epitome of a very beautiful California woman/girl that every man wants and desires. The type of woman no man can resist. The writers will write those same characteristics for Hope as well but with dignity and less promiscuousness. Neither will never ever do wrong is what the writers want everyone to believe. They are the heroin of B&B. Over the years this is the soaps backbone and the writers are sticking with it. The audience has gotten use to it so much that it's expected.

Steffy is gorgeous, smart, sassy awesome to watch, but the writers passes her character off as the bad person the one who always gets her self-esteem taken down by the Logans.

The men characters of this show are horrible always hurting beautiful, talented, smart, passionate women. It's women history month and I guess the writers are going to show Brooke's history because she's THE woman. (with a lot of history)


It would be amazing if the writer's showcase the other women on Bold. It would be nice if Brooke acknowledge the other women on Bold and really supported them.
If Brooke would give other women the respect they deserve.

Because Brooke always looks out for Brooke and Hope only this is why I really don't like her character. Brooke is terrible to her sisters, Taylor, Quinn and just about any other woman on the show if it means her not getting what she wants.

Hope said something very similar when she was asking Ridge to give Brooke another pass. “The” Brooke Logan. The truth is, she was tabloid fodder.
