I cannot believe the nerve of Hope saying that Steffy, Thomas and yes Taylor are his "Other Family". No Hope they are his real family, you Logan's are the "Other Family"

She and her mother have always been smug in their attitude towards Ridge’s family. -
This just kind of makes me laugh a little - and I don't wish to mock or spark an unpleasant conversation, but......Ridge has been married to Brooke on and off for a billion years now...he has married her eight times (and then another 'oh it was invalid' plot 'twist' was thrown in....) he married Taylor like twice? Three times if you count a vow renewal....before it was annulled....Ridge and Brooke have a child together, and if we are supposed to suspend our disbelief at Hope's rapid aging, Ridge has been a 'father figure' to Hope most of her life...Taylor has been out of town since 2013.....except to drop in and shoot someone....and then leave again....Thomas was gone for several years....Ridge has not lived with Taylor and his kids for well over a decade.....Taylor, Thomas, and Steffy are, in my opinion and I know not everyone will agree....Ridge's 'other family'.....both families are 'real'....but Tay and the Tots are the other family.....Comment

Hope saying that, and the snarky way she said it reveals her true thoughts… she absolutely believes she and Brooke are Ridge’s true family, and his own children are nothing. Hope is a chip off the old block as they say. Brooke’s entitlement and superiority complex run through Hope’s veins.Comment

Hope doesn’t remember she and Ridge are family until it’s convenient for her. She stopped calling him dad when he made a business decision in Steffy’s favor instead of her. She then wants her dad around which I understand but she wants to claim Ridge again . Steffy and Thomas have one father Hope has had at least three and none of them have been consistently important to her .Comment

Hope is a nasty piece of work, just like her mother. Ridge's "other family" as the little witch put it, was his family long before her slut mother managed to finally get him, after chasing him, and degrading herself for so many years.Comment

samfanhere, Hope is such a phony. She didn't even think enough to ask how her father was, after Brooke said that both men were bloody from fighting. She didn't say anything, like "oh is my father okay?"...yet she pretends like she's so caring. Hope is the one who started all this by wanting Deacon to be a part of her life, knowing full well how Ridge felt about it, but she didn't care about her mother's marriage then, did she? No, she just wanted what she wanted, like always, and Brooke was right there, as usual, to see that her little princess got what she wanted, just like she always does. -

Hope is a wannabe loser like her mother. Ridge may no longer be married to Taylor, but Hope will never have a family like the Tridge family, not when you're the bastard daughter of your mother's son-in-law.

Hope thinks of Liam's child Kelly with Steffy his other family whereas Hope, Beth and Douglas (even tho he was appropriated from his real family) are Liam's sweet little family. Of course she would feel the same about Ridge's children with Taylor. She gets her entitled attitude from Momma.Comment

Hope is just like her mother, a phony hypocrite! Hope is now pretending like she cares so much about Ridge and Brooke's marriage, yet she didn't care enough when Ridge warned both her and her mother, not to let Deacon into their lives, in which was his life too! Hope wanted what she wanted, like always, and Brooke was right there, as always, to see that her precious little darling, gets whatever her heart desires, once again! Hope wanted Deacon in her life, and she didn't care one bit about it affecting Ridge and Brooke's marriage. She knew full well how Ridge felt, but she didn't care. Now she wants to pretend like she cares so much about Ridge and Brooke and their marriage breaking up....two faced, lying hypocrite!Comment

To Steffy and Thomas, Brooke and Hope are the other family. To Brooke and Hope, Taylor, Steffy, and, Thomas are the other family. Ridge was in love with Brooke and married her, so I think it's reasonable to consider that Brooke has been his primary family up until now. I don't see the big deal.Comment

Ridge was father to Thomas, Steffy and Phoebe before Hope was even born. Brooke’s love-child has no right to refer to them as Ridge’s “other” family. Hope has always distinguished herself from Ridge and Taylor’s children, and at the same time Ridge himself. Steffy and Thomas ARE Ridge’s family. Hope is her mother’s daughter, and at best Ridge’s off and on step-daughter. Hope is in no position to be declaring who is “other”. She does not consider Ridge her father, and he does not consider Hope his child, in my opinion. Deacon is her only father, according to Hope. So Hope is incredibly out of line condescendingly calling anyone “other”, compared to herself and her mother. -
I still don't see the big deal. They are both his family, or they were. Maybe he won't be a family with Brooke anymore, but up until now, they were both his family. Brooke was more important to him than Taylor because she was his wife, and he loved her very much. When Taylor was with him, the same was true for her. Of course, Hope would see Steffy and Thomas as his other family, just like they see Brooke as his other family.
