This story really needs to be over now that February sweeps is in full swing. But I have a feeling it won't.
I bet there will be more repercussions for Brooke (and Hope & Liam).

Thanks for the spoilers. Sounds like Taylor will be telling Ridge about the kiss before Brooke does. I'm glad about that although it's likely going to come back to bite Taylor like everything does to every character who's not a Logan or Liam, but I'm still glad.

I'm also glad Steffy is going to be blasting Brooke, that's long overdue. I just wish there was an audience when she does it. Quinn Eric Thomas and Katie at minimum should get to hear what Steffy has to say to Brooke.

Taylor (or Thomas and Steffy) know about the kiss. Just that Deacon spent the night.

I think we all know that in the end, Brooke will come out smelling like a rose, and everyone else will be falling all over themselves apologizing to her, because of what big, bad, evil Sheila did to poor little, innocent Brooke.....Bell already set that up from the beginning. That's the moment that I know that I will tune out once again, and stop watching, just like I did before.

creation Brooke will stick to her story that she just had a relapse and kissed Deacon because she was drunk.
When they do find out about the switched labels, that will completely exonerate Brooke. We all anticipate that
happening. Everybody involved in the reveal will be blamed; Brooke will get so many apologies and Bridge will
be together again until her lips accidentally kiss someone else. Wait for it!

Well Brooke you had over a month to come clean. You didn't. Instead you threaten a little boy to keep quiet and lied constantly to your husband. You're a day late and a dollar short.

I was afraid that this story line was going to drag out as long as the baby snatching did. I fully anticipate that this will end up being no different than the Brill kiss with Brooke putting all of the blame on Quinn for "targeting" her marriage, and Quinn paying the price. Regardless, I'll enjoy watching Steffy call Brooke out on her behavior, and especially her lies, as I have been so irritated watching Steffy show no response to Brooke's personal attacks against her.

If the reveal about the label switch goes on for a long time, this story could drag out just like the baby snatching did.
But in the end, everyone involved in revealing the story to Ridge will be blamed and Brooke will be exonerated.
Brooke can say that it's Sheila's fault she drank, kissed Deacon, passed out in bed, Deacon spending the night and
Douglas seeing the kiss because of Sheila. But it's been years of seeing Steffy kissing Brooke's butt for the sake of
her father's marriage and seeing Steffy become besties with Hope (and those two interfering in Steffy's marriage
to Liam) for Steffy to wake up and give Brooke some pay back.

With JMW's upcoming maternity leave I doubt the payback for all Steffy's endured from Brooke and Hope throughout the years is going to be enough for my satisfaction but a little bit is better than zero. With any luck Thomas and Taylor will take up the payback where Steffy leaves off. We should at least get a little reprieve from Ridge telling Brooke how sexy and wonderful she is how she's all he's ever wanted since the first time he laid eyes on her as if his love for Taylor and their marriage never existed.

I just wish someone would come along and knock Taylor's socks off so Ridge never has another chance with her not now not ever.

I was just about to ask the same question. What could she possibly be confused about? I don’t hold out much hope that Brooke won’t come out smelling of roses, just for once I’d like someone to remember that while Sheila led her to drink, she didn’t force her to kiss Deacon and she sure as hell didn’t make her hide what she did. She’s has ample opportunity to come clean but for Brooke the truth is only important when it’s about somebody else or when she’s backed into a corner. ?

Maybe she is confused as to why her threats against Douglas and LOPE's pressuring him didn't work?

Possibly she doesn't understand what she is being accused of (sleeping with Deacon or having an affair)? To her
she had a relapse and accidentally kissed Deacon.

I would guess that Brooke is confused that Steffy has figured out that she was kissing Deacon, not Santa. As far as Brooke knows, Douglas didn't know that it was Deacon as it was something that was revealed when Thomas questioned him. I'm sure she's going to be shocked to discover that Steffy knows a whole lot more than she expects.

I sort of wish that Steffy's visit didn't happen until after Brooke decided to come clean with Ridge because I am convinced that Brooke wasn't planning to tell him that Deacon spent the night at the house.

What are the odds that next week we will get Hope barging into Steffy's home and going off on her for confronting Brooke?
