If the system was installed and monitored by FC then no crime has been committed.

If Brooke had killed Thomas she still would be convicted of manslaughter if she had been tried for it. She wouldn’t get off because of what she “thought” was happening. That’s not defendable.

They never said they used FC money to install it. They just said Brooke ASKED Charile to pick out the system and install it. More than likely they paid for it with their own money.

It sounded like Brooke and Ridge paid for the security system privately, not FC. It makes no sense that FC would foot the bill for private security systems.

Brooke BELIEVED Hope was in danger, whether she was actually in danger or not, is irrelevant. Brooke's state of mind is all that matters when it comes to INTENT to murder or not. And her state of mind was not that of intent to murder, it was of protecting her daughter.

Per what Charlie said today, actually they are not committing a crime. It's within the law since Charlie did not hack the system.

They made it clear Charlie has access cause he had the IP address and the password. Brooke nor Ridge thought to change it and used FC money and employee's to get the system updated and installed. Which technically can mean FC own Brooke's property if they underwrite anything for her property.

So no Steffy didn't break any law cause Charlie didn't hack into a system, just access one he had permission to in the first place. Which is weird cause most don't allow their security system to be connected to the company like that. It becomes a liability and easier for breaches.

Hope was never in any danger, and Brooke was standing BETWEEN Thomas and Hope when she turned and viciously shoved him off that cliff....she knew at that point Hope was in ZERO DANGER...she tried to murder him anyhow simply because she hates him.

Brooke wasn't trying to murder Thomas. She thought he was attacking Hope, and she was attempting to save her daughter. Murder is when you have the malicious intent to kill someone. There's a difference.

Steffy is pretty fierce about the things and people she cares about.

Brooke just got busted for kissing her sister's fiance a few months ago, now she tonguing Deacon. I mean really enough is enough.
Great points. It’s just too much.

Steffy defended hersself against her cousin who wanted to kill her.
    Self-defence is not a crime.
Funny how so many many peope leave that important detail out.

Hope and Logan get away with it too after the Thomas incident.
    Just saying.
But they are Logans, so it is OK?
