Tridge "True Destiny" line by Steffy!
I love it. I also believe Ridge's destiny is Taylor and I do believe if Caroline was alive it would have been her. Tridge were a family and if William Bell was alive I think he would have kept this family together. They may have Brooke/Ridge claim they are but I don't buy it. I watched the show back then and I'll always believe Ridge loves Taylor. He's been reformed over the years to rewrite history like Brooke is but IMO Tridge is destiny and as long as they are both on screen - there is a chance.

If they were "destiny" Ridge wouldn't have had his first child and second & third with someone else and Brooke wouldn't have had f our children with other men before before she had one with Ridge. TRIDGE on the other had their first three children together. Ridge chose Taylor many times over an willing and eager Brooke. They had 10 years together. Taylor didn't have to lie or scheme or plot or manipulate Ridge for him to marry her.Comment

Some of the dialog on here is so stilted and heavy handed. Who uses the word "destiny" so often. Practically every man Brooke has been involved with is her destiny; now Steffy is using it for Tridge.

I hope Bell FINALLY lets Bridge go. The actors have zero chemistry and Ridge already has amazing chemistry with KA as Taylor. Brooke actually has chemistry with Deacon. I would like to see Deacon come into some money from a long lost relative or something so he is financially independent and becomes a successful business man and then let him and Brooke hook up. It's kind of hard to see someone as superficial as Brooke being with a glorified janitor. Nothing wrong with a janitor but Brooke is too into appearances and status.Comment

We’ll I hope tptb listen to both TK and KKL and give it a rest. It feels like it’s run it’s course anyway. Surely we shouldn’t have to be sitting there watching a nearly 60yr old woman wailing over having kissed another man, stressing about being busted and being worried about how fragile her marriage is after all these years. Bridge imo was never much more than passion based with very little else to prop it up. Bring on another pairing please!Comment

Taylor can have that classist pig Ridge and be miserable with him while he pines for the other side of the fence while denigrating people who haven't had their jobs handed to them by their family and do the work he wouldn't last a day at.
Steffy sounds dumb as a rock. First, for trying to reuse Brooke's line. Second, for thinking her mother is anything but Ridge's backup plan. Who would want that for their mother?
Tptb gave us a clue in the spoilers about Bridge is still their couple. I wish they would end Bridge for good. I would like to see Brooke with someone who really adores her and won't be the raging elitist snob that they have turned Ridge into. I can't figure out why successful women like Brooke and Taylor want him. Well, Taylor's obsessed and needs some serious therapy if she stayed away from her family for years because she couldn't stand seeing Ridge and Brooke together, so I can see her being that desperate.
I miss old Taylor and old Ridge. ?

Oh, Taylor definitely passed that along to Steffy. I still remember her being all excited when Steffy was thinking about adopting because Taylor said it would help her put her family back together, with Luam playing dad to both babies. She pushed Steffy at Liam and to "get him back" just as much as Brooke did with Hope.

I don't like that at all because Steffy is basically saying Caroline was destined to die because Taylor and Ridge were destined to be together. Enough with this destiny crap, no one is destined to be, we make our own destiny's through the choices we make.Comment

I'm not so sure it's destiny. But I would want to be one supporting Ridge and Taylor if it's not short-term. Taylor doesn't deserve to be part of their marry-go-round.Comment

I just think the past says it all. Ridge pursued Taylor, he chased her, he married her and had a family with her while Brooke was right there. I don't see any comparison to Niktor. Victor wanted Nikki, he pursued her when she was a stripper and they have 2 kids together. They've always been a blended family and Victor never chose another woman over Nikki. Ridge has chosen Caroline 1, Caroline 2, Taylor and cheated on Brooke with Bridget + Quinn + Taylor. I don't see how Taylor/Ridge or Caroline/Ridge were soapy problems. He chose them over Brooke, and he married them over Brooke. Um, Victor chose Ashley over Nikki. Remember when they last married? Ashley was over his "stuff" and basically sent him back to Nikki.
Ridge loves Brooke. And sex is an important part of a healthy marriage unless both partners agree otherwise. Sex is a good way to bond with one's partner with all those feel good hormones released. I don't see Ridge going celibate willingly any time soon. -
Again we all see the show and couples differently. You are a Tridge fan and I am not. That is why we have different opinions. That is okay. We like who we like and keep cheering for our favorite couples. I know Bell well enough that he will play to both fanbases.

That would be nice. I mean even Annika keeps saying she wants to see Hope with Wyatt or Zende, but Lope is a never ending circle of boredom. I know TK has made references to really being interested in Ridge/Shauna and playing Ridge in love with Taylor. KKL has tons of chemistry with Deacon or hell they could bring Nick back for Brooke. By your criteria, then Taylor and Ridge would be a failure. Brooke and Ridge have been a couple longer. Taylor cheated with James while slut shaming Brooke. Taylor bedded his father Eric and Eric's son Rick, and Thorne. She's done just as much beholding as Brooke. The last couple decades, Taylor has been his backup when he and Brooje are on the outs. I'll never forget one of Taylor's return from the dead where Ridge set up a dating competition to see who he liked better. That was when I knew Taylor and Ridge were done and any reunion would never be the same. Ridge changed. He had been very happy with Brooke and he was no longer willing to let her go for Taylor. -
bluejazz - Ridge chose Caroline over Brooke and Taylor was his second wife. HT was on/off and KKL has never left the show so it's plausible in real time they've been a couple longer. Yes, Taylor slept with James but Ridge also slept with Taylor behind Brooke's back and Taylor IMO has never been a backup. If anyone was a backup it's Brooke. She only got Ridge when Caroline/Taylor were dead and when Taylor slept with James. I don't see a happy Ridge, I see a default and content Ridge. He's chosen Taylor over Brooke in real-time and he had a whole family with her. They are rewriting history but fans who watched back in the day knows Ridge choose Caroline and Taylor over Brooke. He also cheated on Brooke with Quinn, Bridget, Taylor and Caroline. Ridge never cheated on Taylor.
