My Lesson re/ B&B: Be Careful What I Wish For

So many times, I've thought the same thing about B&B: why can't they write a front-burner storyline for characters other than Liam and Hope?

Specifically, I wanted something great for:

Quinn & Eric
Carter
A love interest for Steffy who was truly worthy of her

Well, the writers gave me what I wished for..... sort of..... but the results are a nightmare.

Am I the only one who feels this way? They gave these people storylines, but somehow managed to diminish them all so badly in the process that I don't root for them anymore.

I'd try to make light of this, but it really isn't funny. It's like they deliberately pooped on the best parts of this show..

I agree with you totally. It’s almost shocking how quickly they can turn a potentially great story into sheer garbage you no longer care about.

Well I get it. I wanted a new woman for Thomas? Who do I get? Someone worse than Hope.

I wanted a new love interest for Steffy and Thomas.

Um. Time for some cliff yeeting for those two, yikes.

I wanted Hope to kick Liam out for good because he will never not be a cheater.

Oh my. Ugh.

I wanted story for Quinn and Bill.

Um. I did get the brief glimpse of what a couple with real chemistry looks like with Quarter. Then, . Bill, nada.

I was kind of wanting to see how Ted King's Jack and Brooke would get along.

But I am getting flashbacks of one of soaps hotter couples with Brooke and Deacon.

I wanted to see the charming side of Eric.

The urn is looking like the best option.

I want someone to tell Donna to stop her sniveling.
