Brooke conceding defeat is a shocker. Really hope they don't put her back with Bill -- that's been done and redone to death. Wouldn't mind seeing a true triangle between her, Eric, and Quinn.

Going back to Wyatt and Katie would be a big improvement over Flo. I always thought the reason for his breakup with Katie was completely bogus anyway.

Steffy went through them that quick? She must had two weeks worth, and she finished in what 2-3 days. Her real doctor, not Finn. Isn't going to prescribe but maybe another few weeks without new x-rays and tests. If they see she is healing, but still hurting like before, they may be weaning her off or cut her off cold turkey. So she will have to call Vinny. That's why Thomas brought him having a crush on her.

The last time I had reason to have a prescription for pain meds, even though it was something I'd taken before and had been responsible about taking, I was still only given a week's worth of pills with no refills. I asked why, just out of curiosity, since I didn't anticipate even needing a week's worth (and I didn't). I was told that doctors are being advised not to give a prescription for more than a week's worth at a time anymore, specifically because of the opioid crisis.

I really doubt she got two weeks worth. She probably got just enough to last her until she could see her regular Dr. I know that is what they did for me when I fell and wrenched my back.

The bottle said there were 30 pills. If she was taking them every 6 hours, they'd last her a week; if she was taking them every 4 hours, they'd last only 5 days.

Brooke concedes defeat with Shauna who just popped into Ridge’s life but she spent years fighting Taylor. Get out of here with that mess. Marriage has never stopped Brooke before.

It seems like by the time we get to it it could be a couple of weeks. Yesterday Doctor Fiinn said it’s been a few days. It depends on on much or little time has passed.

They already have nothing for Flo and Wyatt to do .

The Brooke , Ridge, Shauna thing is odd . It seems like it’s lacking something.

I’d like to see Steffy struggle to recover but avoiding tbe addiction. That’s realistic.

How is she avoiding the addiction? Dr Finn told her she can't pick up Kelly, I am not trying to be mean but this is weird to me. Steffy is in pain, she was never a drinker or substance user. So why is she afraid of the pills? She can't take her daughter to the beach, or park or chase her around. Liam sees Kelly a few hrs a week. So unless Liam or Hope shows up, who can help her. She has to take the painkillers to feel better for her child! Her dad is dealing with his problems, and her and Thomas are not close. Taylor isn't around. She can ask Katie for assistance, but I don't know if there friends.

She can't trust Wyatt, because he is with Flo. Thorne is gone. She and Quinn are ok sometimes. So that's it.

I mean a different direction than what it appears they are doing.

As for the painkillers a lot of people refuse to take them for various reasons and won’t take anything beyond over the counter aspirin or Advil , Tylenol.

It’s ridiculous for Ridge and Brooke to be caught up in this nonsense they have been on the same carnival ride for over thirty years it’s not a do or die at the moment. Steffy and Kelly should take priority.

I don't know about others be it is my experience that the hospital only prescribes about a week's worth of pills because they want you to follow up with your own healthcare provider. Your PCP then writes his own prescription so he'll know what you're taking.

This is my experience as well. The size of the bottle isn’t really indicative of the number of pills in the bottle. Pharmacies do run out of different sized bottles sometimes, so they may have put a weeks worth of pills in a bottle that can hold a months worth for all we know.

I've gotten a bigger bottle when that's what the pharmacy had as well--though in this case, I suspect they may have gone with a bigger bottle just so the prop was bigger, since they want to make a point of it being seen.

Yes, these days it's no joke. With controlled substances they do write for exactly how many pills you need. My doctor even has a fob/token that she generates a code for her when she submits the script online. These days no legit doctor (and I'm going to assume Finn who works at the hospital is legit) will over prescribe.

Stop forcing love scenes with Wyatt and Flo. I don't want to watch them at all. Will FF definitely.

veryoldatwtfan You're welcome for the spoilers! I have had no power from the tropical storm since Tuesday so I have not been on here very much until today. I was using my cell but charging it in the car. And was able to read th Live Thread and watch the show every day on Insta.

veryoldatwtfan I agree. As long as we get through it safely, that's the main thing. We've all been through it many times and unfortunately, it won't be the last time.

@Batgary....I just got my power back late yesterday. It was off since Tuesday afternoon. I'm just starting to recover though. Thank you so much for asking. I had to replace all the food in the refrigerator and freezer today!

Hope you are having a great weekend! xoxo

Count me in as another one who has no desire to watch Flatt have socially distanced sex--think they'll do that in slow motion, too, so that it takes up half the show?

So it looks like Ridge and Shauna really did get married. Steffy has broken ribs and a spinal injury. It takes 6 weeks for the ribs to heal. Not sure why Steffy is on her last pill in less than two weks "real" time since she has been refusing to take them.

redhead Teacher yes just more examples of Bell's poor writing. I mean the girl was in a major accident and at this point is hasn't been THAT long. I don't know why Bell is rushing this storyline and turning Steffy into a druggie after she was hit by a car a few days ago (even in REEL time).

FatedCinderella - Given the size of the bottle Steffy was sent home with, it was more than a few days worth of pills. Since Finn is her doctror now, it seems he would have given her more than a couple of days as he knows her medical history and extent of injuries. Further patients don't necessarily go to their GP. They also go to their specialist. As someone who had a family member have heart surgery they left the hospital after 8 days with pain meds for two weeks (then for 30 days and followed up with their cardiologist.

When I came home from surgery I had 5 or 6 pills in a bottle like that, none of which I needed.
