  • Brooke's Bedroom Launch

First, I am surprised at how much Brooke looked like Kim Matula! I didn't watch back in the day so this episode was new to me.
Next, everyone seemed to know this was a lingerie line and that the models would be wearing things from the line. Why did Taylor and Stephanie seem to think it was so scandalous to use a bed as a prop?
From what I have seen from these classic episodes (maybe not enough to be judging) Brooke seemed to enjoy stirring things up and Stephanie enjoyed bullying people.

I agree with your interpretation. I liked the lingerie, it was tame and Brooke’s was barely revealing but pretty.

I have the same feelings about it as you do. Brooke did enjoy stirring the pot, but Stephanie and Taylor could never stay out of her hair no matter what she did.

Forrester was always about couture, grace, and class. It was shocking to have the change announced, it was double shocking to actually see it in action. I can understand Stephanie's reaction to it because it was a surreal experience to see the company you built with an idea and vision in mind change so drastically from their typical target audience to an entire new group of individuals. It was a direct clash with their brand and thus Stephanie was not at all happy about it.

Yes, agree. Eric didn't look too happy either.

When you watch the old episodes Taylor was very conservative which there is nothing wrong with so no hate for her. Stephanie considered herself more about class. Brooke was the outsider, and she did like to bother Stephanie every chance she could; however, Stephanie would do the same to her when given the chance. The funny thing is when they needed each other they were each there for the other. B&B at its best in my opinion.

Imagine Brooke and Taylor fighting over Ridge like Steffy and Hope fighting over Liam now.

          1. She does resemble KM
          2. How does KKL look pretty much the same after all these years with that incredible figure to boot
          3. This seems laughable in retrospect as far scandal compared to how fashion etc is today that's nothing now.

I absolutely agree, casting Kim as Hope was perfect. They really do look like they could be related in real life. About Brooke/Stephanie, they had times when they got along and times when they couldn't stand each other. If you watched the rerun from 2007 with Ridge/Brooke/Stephanie/Eric in the cabin, Brooke even tells Stephanie "I know you love me".
