Ridge white suit was fine but imo Brooke playing the princess was ridiculous ... especially since it was her second wedding ... This kind of dress at 30 ... and the hairdo ... a sandcastle seriously ?
a little girl’s dream ... or a cheap romance novel idea of romance ...IMO
Brooke looked WAYYYY better IMO for her second wedding to Ridge.
But both ceremonies were tainted ... Brooke got Ridge by default and on the rebound ...

IMO Brooke s marriage to Thorne was beautiful. Her most stunning groom was NICK playing Officer and Gentleman ...

for Ridge I loved his wedding to Caroline and his first wedding to Taylor ... not bc I loved the pairing but the gowns and locations were stunning, classic and classy
and the VERY OBVIOUS green screen when brooke was on the beach kissing very sexily that very attractive man, I mean it looked like they were cut outs put in front of a screen. that was bad.

and was it really only a few months since Taylor was "dead"? that is pretty fast to move on, ridge was a dog. and brooke was ready to take him.

Ridge moved on quickly because Brooke was about to marry James. Going back to her was the mean to raise his child.
Ridge couldn’t have the family he wanted with Taylor so he settled for the second best always ready to take him back no matter she was engaged and he had rejected her and their child twice to marry another ...

Yes me too, and I love that it was right after brooke married ridge and she was on the beach with Dr Warwick, and she kissed him omn the cheek with a kliss that to me, looked like she wanted him, or that she wanted to make sure he stayed wanting her even while she was married.

I don't know if my choices were ridge, and that really HOT smokin Hot Dr Warwick, I think I would have said Ridge who????????? when that man spoke, he was so dreamy...…...Ridge, not so much.

I would easily pick James! He was so hot as Duke on GH. Duke and Anna are one of the all-time best Soap love stories, between them and Steve/Trisha on Loving was what made me ever get interested in soaps.

I think it would be awesome if they could steal Paul Telfer from Days and cast him as James’ secret son as he is a IB lookalike, and bring back IB too.

ILoveBizzie I just looked up Paul Telfer, you are on to something really big here. this would be amazing. wow, its amazing he could pass for his real life son.

Yes! Glad you like my idea. ? He’s very popular on Days but if Bell made the right offer....it would be better for his career really to be on the #2 soap and one that is so big in Europe and Australia.

I think Bell really shortchanges this show with his not hiring really hunky men and expanding the cast.

I loved it. But not for the romance. Stephanie was priceless. The faces! I cannot imagine sitting through the wedding of my husband's homewrecker mistress ex-wife to my son and the supposed brother/sister to her children. Stephanie was strong.

I must be going stir crazy from isolating because I'm talking to the television. When Brooke made her vows I yelled liar, liar, pants on fire. Then I cracked myself up laughing because her pants on fire explains a lot. Like why she keeps taking them off.

She really is the notorious vixen of all soaps.

I thought that the wedding vows were super cheesy like something out of a bad romance novel. But the way Brooke was hyperventilating while Ridge was reciting his lines with her chest heaving was particularly hysterical.
I did however like seeing KKL in the introduction with her adorable dog. She’s quite lovely when she’s not playing Brooke all mean and squinty

That goes to show how different we all see things because I thought the vows were wonderful! Something I would like to hear said to me, lol.

I also thought KKL’s performance was spot-on for how Brooke would be feeling at that moment. Brooke’s life dream had finally come true.

KKL is great, a very sweet, sunny person. ?

I just read that recent SC TvInsider interview (SC talking about the Australian and the Italy wedding).

It was interesting to hear him talking about how they filmed the zip line entry via green screen and he knew that Steffy was supposed to come down the zip line, but how SC had to stare in the empty air and had to imagine it and act as if he really was seeing it ....

      ____

Maybe they should (could they?) once do an episode with backstage filming material and showing stuff like that.
(eg. how they did the drop from the helicopter (I one have seen just the stills of that fake helicopter/ again green screen filming), and other stunt scenes (Ivy's fall and Liam's jump, Steffy's fall in Italy,....).

They have sometimes put up stills/ pics of that - the stunt man/woman shown next to the actor/actress..., the helicopter,.... - but do they also film a bit how they do things on the show? (backstage video clips)?

KKL is adorable irl. She's silly and funny and pretty with no makeup.

When it originally aired I was an over-the-moon teenager watching my favorite couple finally tie the knot. It brought back a lot of exciting memories watching it again and seeing the original (and only in my mind) Ridge and Brooke. Yeah it had cheesy elements but back then it just worked for this Bridge fan and I loved the walk on the beach down memory lane.
