CLOUDFARE Security Message

Over the past few days you may have received a "Checking if the site connection is secure" message when accessing the site. This is perfectly normal and not cause for alarm.

This message indicates that the server is confirming that the SSL (the "s" that you see in the https before web addresses) security is, in fact, secure. This is not some sort of advertisement and it is not some sort of nefarious hacking.

Cloudfare, which is a provide of web hosting and security, has recently added this layer of security on the Soap Central message boards platform as an added layer of security.

The message may occur any time that your browser makes a new connection to the boards. The message may also stop appearing at any time as the process is further integrated into the boards.

    ALL Covid 19 discussions here

All comments related to the virus should be posted here. Including positive cases among the actors. No political statements of any kind are allowed and as with all comments, bashing of any real life person is not permitted. I know we have had a couple of threads already discussing some stars but for now all of that discussion should be in here. Thank you and please keep comments within guidelines.

Is this for us to talk about our own personal experiences, asking people how they’re doing, chit-chat about it, that sort of thing? Or is it only in relation to the soaps?

    Thanks!

I copied this from the YR side because she wrote it well.

This thread will be the one place for discussions of anything COVID-19, especially the show's production/viewing, actors' health and how we are coping (health, stress, etc). Please note, per the senior moderators, this is to be a positive, supportive, factual thread only. A few things not allowed in this thread: unverified gossip, political comments, negative comments/updates about actors even if there is a public statement about it and arguing/bashing. Posts about actors must be based on an actual public statement of some sort; however, even with a public statement, you can't report anything negative you see (DUI, etc.)

      Thanks guys.

        Okay thanks Shelley!

Well I for one had gotten a bit used to the isolation life before this because of my year of 2019 when Dad was diagnosed with brain cancer early in the year and our life became consumed with a (fruitless) battle to save him.

Now here we go again with another year of isolation and medical worries. I have an autoimmune disease and our next door neighbor has lung and lymph node cancer, so the fear of the virus is extra strong in us.

i know how you feel, i have chronic bronchitis and RA. but we will get through this by protecting ourselves, and because those who love us will help us do that. even strangers are, isn't that cool? the idiots out there are loud, but they ARE FEW. WE GOT THIS!

          YES!

Do you take medicine for the RA? I’m at risk for that too. I take Synthroid and Liothyronine for my HT but I don’t think it relieves the symptoms.

Thank you- Ill watch this thread. I have been wondering how all of the B&B actors are doing. I did see an Australian tv interview with DD and his family (you tu could find it easily online) at home working out and talking about the show. I'm not big on social media, so I'm sure I'm missing updates there. I wish CBS would do some actor interviews or a soap talk show on Fridays or streaming. I know not everyone is, but I have always been interested in the actors as people.

If you have an Instagram account, you can follow a lot of the show’s actors there. Many have Instagram accounts. I’m not much on social media but I find Instagram easy to use.
