for selling Beth to Steffy, didn’t she? They just say that she lied about Beth and kept it a secret. But didn’t she actually help SELL Beth? And profit from it to the tune of $50,000?

She threw that money Back at Reese, and it was not why she agreed to help. She agreed to help to save Zoe’s life, and only after meeting a Steffy.

Context is so important!! Flo did not know that the baby Reese had was stolen when that conversation occurred. That conversation happened BEFORE Flo found out that the baby Reese was planning to put up for adoption was stolen with the mother being led to believe she had died. When Reese finally admitted to her where the baby came from, he pressured her to help him with the fact that he was trapped and those thugs were going to kill Zoe if he did not do what he was doing. Flo had no time too even process what Reese had told her before Steffy and Taylor showed up at Reese’s to meet her and the baby. As Flo has said repeatedly, everything happened so fast and next thing she knew she was trapped in mess she didn’t know how to get out of. Flo did not even find out until the end of January how much money Reese was getting and that he planned to give her $50,000. That was after the adoption process was already in motion. Then Reese told her she was already an accomplice so might as well take the money.
When Flo initially agreed to to help Reese, she did Not know the baby was stolen, and she did not learn that he planned to give her $50,000 until even later on. When he gave her the money, she said it felt like blood money, then she ended up throwing it back at him later. Flo was never really on board with Reese’s scheme, and as she learned more of the details, she became less and less on board but felt trapped.Last edited by ABeth; October 14, 2019, 11:17 AM.

But Flo did take the money. She said to Reese, "I have some bills." And she ostensibly spent the money on a car and her "bills." She knew Beth was stolen before she lied to Carter and signed the adoption papers. She's as guilty as Reese is.

She also knew what was going to happen to Zoe if she did not follow through.
Also, she is not as guilty as Reese is. She did not kidnap that baby. She did agree to help get the baby into a loving home in order to save Zoe’s life, and she even had second thoughts about that but Reese was so desperate and she had already been sucked into the plan before knowing all the facts.Last edited by ABeth; October 14, 2019, 02:53 PM.

But she did tell Ridge and Brooke that she had gotten paid for her part in the scheme, and I do believe she said she was given $50.000. That point has never been raised again since then.

They have inconveniently (for them) forgotten that viewers watched all of Flo's awful actions and are not going to forget them. We also heard her whine endlessly that she needed to tell Hope and yet did nothing. Thomas found out very late in the game and only threatened her then. She had months and months to be honest, brave, and a hero and walked away from it...and now she continually blames others for her actions. I will never like Flo.

When Reese first gave Flo the $50,000 -- she tossed the cash on her bed and rolled around on it. She was giddy with happiness. As I recall she also bought herself a car. That fistful of cash she threw back at Reese probably amounted to only a few hundred dollars. It was certainly nowhere near the $50,000. And he left without taking the money.
Another point: when Thomas initially learned of Beth's true parentage, he told Flo right away that he was heading over to Steffy's to tell her the truth. Flo tried to talk Thomas out of telling the truth. Thomas did go to Steffy's and was about to tell her when he ran into Liam who started snarking at him. At that point, Thomas decided to keep the secret because he was afraid if Hope found out, she'd dump him and get back together with Liam. It was right around this time, that the writers switched direction and began to make Thomas an all-out villain and turn Flo into the more sympathetic character.

She did not roll around in it. Here’s that part of the conversation.
Flo: Zoe?
Reese: Yeah. Checking up on her old man.
Flo: Sweet kid.
Reese: If I could take even the tiniest bit of credit... but, uh, you, uh -- you want to count that, make sure it's all there?
Flo: No, actually, what i really want to do is, I want to dump it all on the floor and roll around in it, naked.
Reese: [ Chuckles ]
Flo: But I'll try to restrain myself.
Reese: What?
Flo: That's not true. What I just said. It's --
[ Sighs ] It just -- it makes it -- it makes it sound like it's, like, a good thing. But I just -- I can't help thinking, this kind of just feels like it's blood money. But I really do need the cash.
Reese: You take every last dollar. Go live your life and forget this happened. You helped me safeguard my daughter. And we still made sure that that little girl has a safe, happy home.

And then after she knew the stolen baby had been adopted, and she had $50,000 Flo didn’t have any regrets. She wanted to leave with Reese to London:
Flo says Well, what if I went with you?? We could travel together, we could spend
some of that money... it would be fun!!

Flo is still living in the appartement that Reese bought during his stay in LÀ, so in a way she’s still profiting of his crimes.
I have no use for that character and her lies.
I still remember her telling Reese that she wanted to roll in the money naked. Little Florence is nothing but a thief and a child trafficker.

But what is worse, Flo pretending to be the birth mother to Steffy, signing fake papers and taking $50,000 or Thomas being the last to find out the truth and keeping it to himself???? Based on this show, clearly Thomas is the BIGGEST villian of all!!!
