Maureen McCormick as the 1st Rebecca

Does anyone know why she was replaced by Andrea Evans? Although I think Andrea did a fantastic job during the show's run. It use to crack me up when she ran on her tippy toes.

Yes I was re watching passions and I was like oh yeah she was the 1st one lol. I love Andrea Evans, but it would of been interesting to see how they would of wrote mm as Rebecca. If she would of stayed on.

I read Maureen's memoir last year, but don't recall her going into specifics as to why she lost the role. Although it would have been interesting to see her play a deceitful, racist, tramp.

she was more a stuck up snob Rebecca that part fit her but seeing her being sluty and married Julian frame Theresa for sending that letter to tablots I couldn't see that Rebecca doing that
