Who was the best Cassie Callison from favorite to least?

Cusi Cram was the original Cassie.
    Ava Haddad (Cassie #2)
    Holly Gagnier (Cassie #3)
    Laura Koffman (Cassie #4)

Who was the best in your opinion?

I don't really remember the first two actresses (I have some vague memories of #2 during the first Mitch Laurence storylines) but #4 annoyed the heck out of me so I guess I'm going w/ Holly Gagnier she had more lightness and spunk. Laura Koffman made me hate Cassie. She was always so overwrought and that energy exhausts me.

Laura Koffman held the role the longest and I thought she did a great job with the material given. I wasn't a fan of the writers repeatedly dipping into the mental health issue jar when it came to her version as Cassie was previously portrayed as a strong woman. I also was not a fan of how Jill Farren Phelps chose to drop the character making Cassie go crazy like her aunts then dropping her when Laura Koffman was on maternity leave. Then later writers replaced her in Dorian's life with Adrianna although they at least had the decency to write a scene where Cassie met her sister. Blair also took her place in a way as I think the writers decided Blair (and later Kelly) were more interesting to write for.

There appears to be limited video of Cusi Cram as Cassie however I did find a episode where she was still going by Cassie Howard and hadn't revealed herself as Dorian's daughter. Cusi was very young then. I found some similarities between her and Ava Haddad both physical and how the role was played

Ava Haddad did a great job as a teenage young adult Cassie. I think she played well off Robin Strasser and Anthony Call and showed a lot of grace and class in the role.

Holly Gagnier's Cassie was good but isolated. I recall her interacting with Jon Russell, Renee, Dorian, Herb, Melinda and Rob Coronal. When Dorian left, her story appeared limited to Rob and Joanna Leighton. Once the Faux Bo storyline was over and Joanna was gone, her story seemed to fizzle out and she left town (not sure if Gagnier left on her own or was written out) with Rob soon following. The writers lost interest in Melinda and she just vanished - Sharon Gabet doesn't recall if she even got an exit story and Herb disappeared as well until Elaine Princi's Dorian came on.

        My order goes like this:

        1. Ava Haddad (no.2) and Holly Gagnier (no.3) are tied as my favorite.
        2. Cusi Cram (original)
        3. Laura Koffman (no.4)

          1. Ava Haddad. In my opinion the best Cassie.
          2. Laura Koffman. She really did make the role her own and I really grew to love her in the part and was furious when she was dropped while on maternity leave.
          3. Cusi Cram. She was only 13 when she originated the role of Cassie and I remember really liking her in the role.
          4. Holly Gagnier. I am a big fan of Holly Gagnier and I've liked her in everything I've seen her in. I liked her on OLTL, but I don't know what it was, she just never felt like Cassie to me.

I liked HG Cassie since she had more of that Dorian Cramer girl spunk.
I really grew to like LB Cassie the preachers wife version too.

Liked HG and Rob pairing. And loved Cassie with Kevin played by KS. Andrew and Cassie were good but boring. She was interesting for the short period she was with Bo too.

I agree with you. Holly Gagnier was the spunkiest Cassie. I felt she and Dorian had that in common.

Laura Koffman, beautiful, sweet voice, sparkly eyes, very different from Dorian but I also loved Dorian.

I only recall the last Cassie. However, I did see one episode back in the late 80's with Cusi. My heart went out to Cassie when she miscarried. I felt she and Andrew were a cool couple. However, I did not know he almost strangled his MIL when Cassie lost the baby. Dorian was partially to blame, she did harass Cassie, I don't recall the reason.
