My all-time favorite is Ed/Carla.

The show had other couples who were short term but were good matches such as Al and Marcie

Tina and Cord for me became repetitive - they would fall in love, Tina would do something stupid causing them to break up then they would reconcile. It wasn't until their last scenes that I really appreciated them. Tina got Todd's fortune but then gave it away to be with Cord. That finally showed some true growth with the character. Tina had grown under Karen Witter but regressed under Krista Tesreau.
