I started watching EastEnders in 2013 and fell in love with everybody. The soap was like nothing I'd ever seen before on an American soap. So many great characters! Such a great outdoor set! They even shot on location a few times a year.
These days I'm a bit more demanding in my fandom for the show.
Lately I have been feeling like EastEnders doesn't have enough great characters. When some have left like Max and Ian there haven't been enough new and returning characters to replace them.
This brings me to Eve Unwin. I've loved this character since she got to the square and punched both Martin and Zach at the Prince Albert. That was hilarious.
When Eve's in a scene I perk up. I don't know where things are going with her interactions with Suki but I am looking forward to it. Heather Peace is doing a great job in the role.
I also love Eve's comfy flannel shirts that remind me of grunge rockers.
