Yeah I don't remeber much aboutt he Doris and Alan marriage it seemed thought like both had an agenda.That was over though Alan gave Phillip bone marrow or something and he was in a weakened condition. He died on a park bench. Interesting Alan and Buzz became friends toward the end.Maureen was about eleven or twelve at the end of the series.

I can't remember with Doris and Alan but I think it was due to Doris being ambitious.She thought it could be useful to be married to Alan. I think it was later she came out.

I would love to have seen Matt turn out to be Ashley Wolfe's dad....having not known for all those years.....Matt worked as an escort for Amanda, so....Doris could have been a client......

Matt might have made a good match for Blake after Ross died......I had also seen a 'glimmer' of Blake and Josh when Reva married Jeffrey....but in the end she got saddled with Frank.....I never cared for the Coopers as the 'blue collar' family that replaced the Reardon family on the show.....

Matt and Blake would have been interesting. Maybe Matt preferred older women, although Blake was only a few years older. Didn't Beth make a play for him as well.

That's strange. They seemed like around the same age to me. But then I found it funny that Alan Michael (as played by Rick Hearst) was supposed to be younger than (Sherry Springfield''s) Blake, considering that he is actually about three years older than she is or so....
