Did anyone like Pilar Santos?

I recall her a little bit, she dated Bill Jr. I also recall her being the reason her mom shot Ben. Although I never knew Carmen and Ben were an item once.

I did, but like other characters (like Lanie Bauer, Johnny Bauer’s sister), Pilar wasn’t fleshed out very well. I felt they rushed the development of the character.

I didn't see much of Pilar due to work and kids. I'm watching stuff on YT right now, up to 1997. Drew just showed up. I hope eventually to see the whole Santos clan introduction, if anyone has posted those episodes.

Does YT have GL episodes as far back as the mid-70s?

It has a few, very few. Most of what I have been watching started in the mid 80s.

I thought she was really sweet. She loved her brother and always supported Danny and Michelle. I think Paula Garces, that was the actress who portrayed her, did a great job with Carmen shooting Ben storyline. Her guilt drove her crazy ( Carmen had framed Michelle for the crime, of course ) and she ended up being committed to the psych ward at Cedars.

I liked Pilar, but the writers sucked at giving her a decent story.

I liked her, and all of the Santos family, even if the mother was a bit too controlling and could be so vicious at times. Pilar Santos deserved a much better SL.
