I'll start... When the lighthouse was reintroduced in the early 90s. I also loved that same opening when the music was changed to a "jazzy" beat.

CLOUDFARE Security Message
Over the past few days you may have received a "Checking if the site connection is secure" message when accessing the site. This is perfectly normal and not cause for alarm.
This message indicates that the server is confirming that the SSL (the "s" that you see in the https before web addresses) security is, in fact, secure. This is not some sort of advertisement and it is not some sort of nefarious hacking.
Cloudfare, which is a provide of web hosting and security, has recently added this layer of security on the Soap Central message boards platform as an added layer of security.
The message may occur any time that your browser makes a new connection to the boards. The message may also stop appearing at any time as the process is further integrated into the boards.

The disco version - because it makes me laugh...Nola tapping her foot and Josh looking at her like a starved dog....Floyd dancing behind Katie....Nola waking up screaming....Tony's karate kick....Bert Bauer's 'deer in the headlights' look in the courthouse hall.....lol....it just all makes me laugh.....

There were two versions of the disco opening. At the time they were both considered cutting edge as I remember, trying to give a taste of the drama, romance and excitement of the show. Plus it seemed to bring the show into modern times. I didn't mind Nola screaming and I thought there were other good clips from both versions. But the Tony kick while he's yelling and Mike Bauer's stance with the gun - no, just no.

I liked something about all of them until the one scrolling across the screen. All of them were awful after that, the worst being the hands. I think there was a speech about brotherhood and everyone being interconnected, and the entire show was about criminals and people screwing each other over. Kind of the opposite of that message.

I like this short-lived version from 1996 that sounded like Hamp was playing the intro. It starts around 3:33.

The last one where I was singing "only love can save the world" at the top of my lungs and my neighbors rushed over one day to ask if I was ok
