Recently, I read an interview online where David said "he would like to return to Soaps." What happened to that? Any news on that? Any news on David returning to soaps either on GH, BB, YR or DOOL?

Yeah. He was so great on AW as Jordan Stark and then went on an incredible run on GL for many years as the popular Prince Edmund. One of David's costars is on GH today. the actress who plays Carly on GH. Can we see David landing on GH and having a reunion with Laura Wright?Comment

Loved Edmond and his relationship with beth. He was,also so good with her kids. hated holier the thou Richard Cassie, reva and phillip

Never knew Edmond was involved with Beth. Was this after her relationships with both Alan and Coop? What did the others do? -
Edmund was, to me, an irredeemable character after he chased Cassie through the jungle which led to her miscarrying her child with Richards.....completely and utterly reprehensible....and then to put Cassie together with Edmund after that? What on EARTH were they thinking????
I liked Edmund as a villain....plain and simple....I don't think the writers ever should have tried to make a 'good guy' out of him....but there were characters he worked well with....Beth (because the writers were in the process of ruining her as well) and DInah...great matches for him....Carmen Santos was a good match for him as well - Alexandra, too. I thought the 'never heard of before but already dead' daughter who had given birth to Shayne Lewis's child was a bit lame, too....had Edmund stayed around until the end of the show, there could have been some interesting connections - like with Blake, perhaps....or Alexandra again....or Mindy Lewis.....

TonksIsHere, the summer of 99 story with Prince Edmund in San Christobel was so fresh, so original, and so exciting too. the writers were top notch. i think they used to write for Dynasty before GL. Dynasty always had great and exciting stories at beautiful locations around the world. I always remember David's obsession with Reva at the palace. And then taking her hostage. And then the big chase that led to the confrontation on the cliff, where Prince Edmund tragically falls off the cliff. and then there is a great follow up episode where Prince Edmund washes up ashore on the water and on the rocks and vows to get his revenge on everyone. Those were the days...Comment

One scene stands out to me. Prince Edmond was entertain beth, lillian, Susan and lizzy. After Lillian took the girls to bed demand and Beth did the most exquisite waltz. Still watch it on YouTube. Edmond treated Beth as an adult. Lillian and Phillip always treated has a child who needed to be protected. Bemond forever.Comment
