Why did Tangie and Josh break up?

I liked them as a couple. Did she ever make peace with her parents for mistreating her as a teen? I was in college then, and missed a lot of the sl.

I wasn't watching much back then and don't remember much about Tangie.

When Tangie refused to turn against Roger, after finding out that he had 'saved her' by taking her out of her parents' care, Josh ended the relationship due to his hatred of Roger.

Talk about bad writing that I didn't need to remember. I always enjoyed Marcy Walker (sp?), but that character wasn't well developed at all. I really enjoyed it when Roger had a female friend who supported him, but wasn't romantically involved (Maureen, Jenna and Tangie). It added depth to the show.

Maureen was friends with sleazy Roger? I missed that! He and Jenna were married briefly.

Yes. Roger and Maureen had a great support system. I enjoyed seeing them interact. Their relationship provided a caring layer to Roger. This type of writing is needed for today's soaps, in my opinion.

WalnutGirl Yes, Maureen was friends with Roger. During the black out (this was back in 1992), Maureen and Roger were stuck in a stairwell and they end up talking about their lives as Roger's trying to pick a lock on a door to get them out. At the same time, Ed was with Liliian as they were stuck in the parking garage.

That would have been a hot mess if Roger and Maureen had a fling. Holly and Ed did once. Maureen also was friends with Blake.

Mo was Roger's only true friend. That's why there was a whole scene of Roger at her graveside.

As for Tangie Hill, I'd say it didn't work out because the fans didn't embrace them as the new next best thing to sliced bread. IOW, the writing. Who wrote Tangie Hill?

            I'm somewhat agreeing.
My nana (from Ukraine) in U.S.A., long time, but she always loved Bad boy Roger and Maureen lil' fling there LOL

My mom used to laugh saying, (still at times remembering how Roger was awful, but she say, "Gen, he was such a good actor, and he was."

Mo was Roger's only real friend, That's why he had such a poignant scene at her grave. & it's also why it was Roger who saved her in Nancy Curlee Demorest's "what if" scenario where Mo lived.
