Earlier I was replying to someone about Rick and Philip's involvement with Ross's death on GL....and mentioned that the writers had done Philip no favors at the end.
One of the most shocking scenes in the final years of the show (to me) was Philip tossing Grady off the cliff at Mount Peapack to his (presumed) death.....we never did see Grady again, and no one seemed to care that he was gone, even Cyrus....as there was no investigation, etc. Grady alluded to harm coming to Lizzie if Philip didn't comply with Grady's wishes. But Grady was alone with Philip...Lizzie was not there, in fact nowhere near the scene - and was not in imminent danger. Philip tossed Grady off the cliff for threatening Lizzie. Whereas Lizzie was not there at that moment....this, to me, makes Philip a murderer, no matter how rotten a character Grady was - it still (to me) amounts to murder on Philip's part.
What do others think?
