Last I recall Sonny bought the pub from Ava since Julian owned it before and he made Phyllis the manager of it in which she moved into the Pub to run ... only where is she?

We see Kristina working it but no mention of Phyllis at all whatsoever. They don't even mention her name. It's like she's totally forgotten.

Such a useless character. They had her blowing the "Mike amnesia" horn so loud in the Nixon Falls fiasco. I could never like Phyllis after all that.

She dissolved into an abyss of Port Charles. Don't miss her and her weird hair bun at all.

I don't dislike Phyllis but she did seem to be kind of a useless character after Nixon Falls and her husband's death. Talking about "hair", Tracy's hair looks worse and worse everyday.

I don't miss her either. I didn't mind that she was Nina's friend, but the pom-pom cheerleading for Nina/Sonny was a bit over the top. And when she wasn't doing that she was dull because the writers gave her nothing else to do.

I don't know where she is but I hope she stays there. She is definitely not needed and I don't understand why they felt the need to bring her to PC in the first place.
She was definitely not a good friend to Nina, she gave her terrible advice.
She didn't help Sonny's situation either, considering she was a nurse, she had to have more knowledge about brain injuries than most people.

The actress Joyce Guy had a reoccurring spot on a Disney + series and has several upcoming projects in the works! Phyllis was on as recently as March 2023 to help Nina process the discovery that Willow is her day! Phyllis has returned to Nixon Falls to help some friends that needed her assistance!

And what kin d of nurse takes an amnesiac patient home like a stray puppy instead of referring him for further treatment/police help? What kind of nurse decides that her friend/employee is bipolar, refers him to a doctor friend just to get him a scrip, and then announces she is going to monitor his condition herself instead of getting him proper treatment with a licensed psychiatrist?

What kind of person pushes their amnesiac pal -- who arrived in town wearing a wedding ring and suffers from bipolar disorder, which suggests what happened to him could be linked to his illness -- to romantically pursue the only other woman who enters her deserted bar?

Phyllis propped Nina and Sonny in Nixon Falls, but that role isn't needed in Port Charles.

All of the points about Phyllis are spot on. It's a major thing with a lot soap characters to a degree. I mean Laura is the mayor and is globetrotting after her sketchy as all heck son and we won't even get into what she was party to with the Victor thing. Liz with the Esme thing. Forget Esme herself, for a moment, a good nurse would insist on a real prenatal care for the baby in utero. Liz and Finn with the Peter thing. Those are just quick things off the top of my head. Soap writers whatyagonnado?

I still think it was unnecessary to bring Phyllis to Port Charles. If Sonny was going to buy thepub it should have been for Kristina who ran it during and even after Julian was gone. Phyllis could have made a few stop ins for plot/reveals.

When Phyllis moved to PC, I was hoping she might be a voice of reason for Nina. But no--she became a huge enabler instead. For this reason, I don't miss Phyllis.

Cosign. I liked Lenny and especially liked his distrust / suspicion of Smikey - but of course that had to be overcome so he could join the legions of Sonny worshippers. I really wish Phyllis had been much tougher on Nina, telling her some painful truths that she needed to hear about how horribly she treated people...you know, being an actual honest friend vs just an enabler. I think Phyllis could have been the one to help ground Nina, and make her be more honest with herself. I had actually wondered if Phyllis would have ended up at GH. There was a lot of potential there but it turned instead into a disgusting worshipping / enablement story so I'm not sad she's gone.

Who knows and who cares? She never should have come to Port Charles in the first place. The bar should have been handed to Krissy to run in the first place since she had been doing it anyway.
