She wasn't being cute and curious, she was prying and intruding on Jake's personal life. She should have left it at "Charlotte you look so pretty" but she just kept at it and I couldn't believe when she got up to follow them and that would have been a perfect opportunity for Finn to discuss privacy and minding your business. Thank goodness Willow was there to explain why two people on a date want to be alone. But then Violet says they shouldn't have come to a public place. That's not what Willow meant and I think Violet knew that. I think Finn needs to explain to Violet that Jake is getting older and isn't always going to want her around and his business is not her business.

Remember Violets family tree, Hayden is her mother and Hayden was never an angel. A little bit of Violet goes a long way...she's still a cutie pie...but she's hanging around adults too much ...she needs a friend closer to her age...like maybe Avery or Scout...so she'll have someone to play with...and get interested in things a little girl should care about...then maybe she'd be too busy and wouldn't be sticking her nose where it doesn't belong

Violet is extremely cute, but she’s too invested in the adults around her. It’s lovely that her father, Aunt Elizabeth and Uncle Chase spend so much time with her, but she should be doing kid things rather than intruding in her cousin’s date.Comment

I think it's good to show that Violet isn't little miss perfect all the time.
Saying that, yes, she does need to be taught some facts but I found what she was doing was natural for kids that age.
Remembering what my sibs and cousins were like at that age.Comment

I absolutely agree! She's more than borderline annoying. She's one of those kids who is not being taught boundaries, mostly because she has a single dad with no backbone, and relatives who dote on her every move.Originally posted by Maxiegirl View Post

Violet is adorable! The actress who plays her is a great child actor. I've always enjoyed her. I haven't watched today yet but I thought yesterday it was a bit over the top with the whole competitiveness against Carly over the baseball team. I don't know any real life kids that would act that way to an adult but I guess they are out there. I didn't enjoy Violet yesterday with that whole thing.Comment

Most kids nowadays don't pay any attention at all to the adults around them, unless they are being 'yelled' at. Her interactions with adults are not believable and now are mostly annoying.Comment
