Portia, Portia, Portia could she have messed with the DNA test?

This really has me wondering, could Portia have made sure that Curtis is Trina's bio dad? Portia probably thought that if Curtis is the father he would more likely forgive her & stay married. And this might also help Portia with Trina getting close to her again. I could be wrong, but something just doesn't smell right with Curtis as the dad.

Oh i forgot about Ms Woo. How did she even know about the DNA test. Why would Ms Woo want Curtis to be Trina's dad?

YES ms wu knew she even told curtis she could "fix" the results so he would be the dad...he told her no/.....after that at the hospital he anxiously asked a worker how don't remember actually how he worded it but he wanted to make sure results could not tampered with, if the lab was secure

Actually she wanted to fix the results to say that Curtis isn’t Trina’s father so that he wouldn’t be distracted from his business which would be no one’s benefit but hers. She make Trina sound like an annoying parking ticket that she could get fixed for him.

I don’t know who fixed the results but you can bet that someone did!

GirlGnome, no she didn't, she told Curtis that she could make results go any way he wanted, and she did just that.

I think the opposite is true . If Taggert turned out to be Trina's dad then Curtis would be mad a her for nothing. He wouldn't have a leg to stand on. She assumed Trina was her husband's child and she would have been right. . With the way things are now Curtis can hold a grunge that he didn't get to raise his daughter. If the opposite had been true then it would basically erase the lie Portia told

This is what I think. Plus, Portia is not really a devious person. I don't think she would intentionally hurt Taggart that way, and Trina would have been less conflicted keeping Taggert as her bio Dad.

This is what I think too . Things are less complicated with Taggert as her father. She didn’t want to hurt Trina or Taggert more recently. Early on she thought Taggert was her father . Portia isn’t a devious person she hasn’t been shown that way she ended up in a situation she hadn’t considered . Maybe she should have but it probably seemed more likely it was Taggert ( and I hope still is) .

But, Taggert is Trina's biological father, and that is what will pull Trina away from the Ashford family, well Curtis at least, especially when it comes out that Selina changed the results in Curtis favor in exchange for continuous use of the Savoy.

Was Trina not related to Aunt Stella? I thought that's how all this got started. Trina discovered a relative and so did aunt Stella, in the database. It's much easier and less likely to be tampered with if people would just use that mail away methods.

I'm still baffled by Valentin. His DNA test supposedly showed no Cassidine blood. just Helena's. But then suddenly Victor is his father. That should mean someone tampered with that test too.

after the school assignment which is why trina sent in her dna sample she removed her self from the ancesrty database before stella could look up the match.....

we thought the match would be to trina for obvious reasonws and at the time we wondered if aunt stella actually gave birth to curtis and is his mother

No, they never said Trina was related to Stella, but Stella assumed she was her match ( even though she had a match years before Trina's project). Trina never checked the results from her project, she deleted her account.

My initial thought was the same as cocophilly but I could see her switching it with the assumption that eventually Curtis will come around and they'd all be one big a happy - which is the scenes that were shown yesterday so Portia is very close to having her dream. Either way could be true.

It will be interesting to hear comments that Selena makes to Curtis in the future - if she shows her cards a bit. Portia being involved would be the twist.

My theory on Selena changing the results is she can use the information to manipulate Curtis. Let's say in 6 months Selena needs a huge favor from Curtis, all she needs to do is tell him that if he wants to keep Trina as his daughter he will have to do what she wants. Plus, Selena knew about the test before Curtis took it and she offered to make sure the results were what he wanted.

I like Portia but that crossed my mind too. OR I was thinking maybe she finds out about Jordan and Curtis, then finds out that Taggert really is Trina’s bio dad, and doesn’t say anything as her and Curtis have started to put their relationship back on track. Or maybe this is just me hoping becauseI want Taggert to stay Trina’s bio father. 😭

I don't believe she would. She's a doctor who had multiple opportunities over the years to find out the truth but chose not too.

I don't think Portia would do something like that. They had the scene between Curtis and Selina for a reason. She let him know she had a contact in the lab and could make the test say anything Curtis wanted. He told her not to, but Selina is going to do what she thinks will benefit HER. I do believe Trina is really Taggert's, but it will be a long time before we find out.

I also think Taggert is Trina bio dad. The thing i hate the most about all of this is how it will affect Trina I liked the old Trina, but now this Trina has started to grow on me & i don't want Trina to be hurt again by her parents mess.

If Portia did a switch, I'd think she'd have wanted to make sure that Taggert was the dad. She worked for twenty years to make it so that he was the dad, and now Curtis is upset with her for lying when he could have been the father. By making it Taggert, she'll have made that appear to be a non-issue, because he 'wasn't,' so didn't miss watching his child grow up.

More likely Selina Wu did it and Curtis will find out first and then there is another secret he has . What will he do about it?
