Nina claims to love Sonny, but anyone who chooses to be with a single parent should also have some regard for his children. Nina has none for Donna. She is speaking about making sure Carly goes to prison for insider training for her own benefit. She couldn’t care less about the little girl she’s planning to be a stepmother too. Then again, I shouldn’t be surprised. If Nina had her way, Donna would still think her father was dead.

Nina doesn't even have regards for her own daughter. Why should Sonny's or Carly's daughter matter? She can't trust Willow to make her own decisions without help or prodding so Donna isn't even an issue to her. And, she would gain another daughter in Donna. Wow, they are really making it a point to have Nina try and take everything of Carly's. If they do get married Nina will be Donna's stepmother.Comment

thecourt99 This is absolutely about what Carly did. Her initial committing the crime of insider trading is what got the ball rolling. That is not Nina's fault. Reporting a crime is not a bad thing. -
Mariko When I said "this" I meant this thread. This thread is about Nina saying that she wants Carly to stay away as long as possible. Not the entirety of the storyline. What Nina said, is Nina's fault and I thought this post/thread was about what Nina said.

Nina cares about revenge that is it, nothing else.
She did not care about Charlotte either when she hatched her big revenge plot against Valentine.
She did not care about Willey when she hung up on him on his birthday so no one could see his grandpa was alive.
She did not care about Avery when she kidnapped her mother and stole her away from her.

OP: Good point. Nina only has Carly in mind and wants her out of the picture no matter who it will hurt even if kids are involved because she wants to get close enough to Willow to manipulate her. Nina doesn't love Sonny, she loves what his reputation does for her. Like you said, if Nina got her way, Donna would still think her father was dead.

Nina doesn’t even think of her own daughter. Donna and Avery are small potatoes. She’s harmed them all before, I don’t see that changing ever. Nina cares about Nina and making Carly’s life miserable.Comment

I can't wait until Donna and Avery are old enough to understand that Nina sat back and watched them cry and hurt for their daddy for months when she could have told them the truth that Sonny was alive.
Oh, and when Avery finds out about what really happened to her on her birthday. Maybe she'll ask Ava why on earth Nina and mommy are bffs.Comment

It would be true to the original Ava character if she is running a long con on Nina: planting the revenge seed, goading her on, suggesting options that cook Nina's goose even further while half-heartedly clutching her pearls and saying "Oh Nina. don't go too far!" Then when Nina's world comes crashing down, Ava can gleefully gloat that it was all for Avery!

At that point, Sonny didn't even know he had children or who they were. He wouldn't have been able to have the same relationship with his family that they wanted with him. So it just would have been an even starker disconnected situation than there already was when he came back with his memories. -
So???
That doesn't mean that Sonny's memory couldn't have been sparked by spending time in his home - with his wife and his children. Watching videos of them together - or looking through photo albums. Maybe going to his office - or eating his favourite meal.
How are amnesia victims ever supposed to recover and get better - if they are purposely kept away from their family - and things that are familiar to them???

Nina didn't care about Kiki when she started her insane revenge plan against her for the crime of being born.
Nina didn't care about Rafe when she lied and told him no one cared about him and sent him on the run, which led to his death.
Nina didn't care about Avery when she forced her premature birth and ran off with her without getting her any medical treatment.
Nina didn't care about Charlotte when she made it more difficult for her to get to know her mother Lulu and accept the situation.
Nina didn't care about Charlotte when she let Charlotte believe she was going to marry Valentin -- only to dump him at the altar.
Nina didn't care about Aiden when she said he deserved to be bullied.
Nina didn't care about Wiley when she told him mommy wasn't his real mommy.
Nina didn't care about Wiley when she slammed down the computer on the video call so no one would see Sonny in the background.
Nina didn't care about Donna, Avery, Joss, Kristina, Michael, Dante, Rocco and Wiley when she kept their father/grandfather from them.
Nina didn't care about Bailey Lou, James or Georgie when she chose to let Peter remain free instead of calling the authorities or calling Maxie to warn her that Peter was on her trail.
Nina didn't care about Danny or Jake when their father was killed by the man Nina let go free so she could keep Sonny to herself.
Nina didn't care about Wiley when she tried to break up his parents by telling Michael falsely that Willow was having an affair.
Nina didn't care about Amelia when she said it would have been better if she had died.
Nina didn't care about Willow when she said she would do the one thing that Willow asked of her -- to not attack Carly -- and then upped her plotting on how to hurt Carly.
