I understand why Spencer dislikes Dex so much. Cameron's his best friend and he loves him like a brother but Cameron let go of his anger so he could move on because Dex isn't worth the effort. Now he don't have to like him and nothing he's said about Dex is lie. Spencer is spot on about this guy and it seems like Dex is annoyed. Maybe because the entitled jerk has his number and he hates it. But he needs to stop picking a fight with this man every time they cross paths.

Dex has life experiences as a man: going to war, serving as a mercenary, working - earning a paycheck, living on his own. Dex knows how to take care of himself.
All Spencer has to show for his life since his return to PC is two prison sentences and a trust fund. Spencer appears jealous that Dex is independent and not sussceptible to verbal bullying but this is the only way Spencer knows to fight. He lost this round today. -
I get what Spencer is thinking, He’s being loyal to his friend, a lot like d us have been there, He just needs to let it go now. He doesn’t have to like Dex but he needs to stop picking fights with him . It’s not a good look and Trina is not loving this behavior.

l absolutely hated Spencer today. He doesn't have to like Dex, but he has no reason to pick a fight with him. Joss can make up her mind about whom she wants to date. lf she needs help or advice, l imagine she knows who her friends are.
l have been feeling this way about Spencer for a while now, ever since the 'baby brother' stuff started. Or maybe before. He thinks he is so great, but he really isn't. Wish Trina would stop enabling him. She deserves so much better. l thought she would lift him up, and l guess she is trying, but so far it isn't workingComment

@Big_cheddar1 - Spencer is rude - that is the difference. Spencer says it to Dex. MIchael and Portia are talking different scenarios: Joss is having a college romance and Spencer is a bad boy who has brought you nothing but grief. Spencer is a bully, he demeans to gain power over someone because he feels inferior. Dex has accomplishsed more over the year than Spencer has as far as doing adult things - having a full time job, earning a wage, having his own place, earning Sonny's respect. Dex can live on his own and survive. So far Spencer has been taken to task twice by Sonny for his language to Dex. Spencer has an attitude and a trust fund - neither of which has done him any favors in the past months. Spencer learned a small lesson from Dex - co exist in peace. Dex could have moped the floor with Spencer, but he did not - to make a very clear point to Spencer - he can. -
OLTLBoomer - Half the adults on the show are rude. Tracy's rude, Carly's rude, Joss is rude, Scotty's rude. Nina's rude. Sonny thows his weight around when he needs to. Spencer sensed something was off about Dex, and technically he's right. And while Spencer thinks he doesn't like the guy because of what happened between Cam, Joss and Dex, wait until he learns that Dex's actually a double agent working against Sonny. We haven't seen Spencer act this way with any other of Sonny's men, so he's not dismissive or rude to everybody who works for Sonny, just Dex. I think we saw who Spencer truly is on the boat. All he cared about was getting Trina and his brother out of that situation, to the point that he offer up his own freedom a couple times and put himself physically in harm's way in order to help save people. He went after his Uncle on his own to get the virus vial, not knowing Victor no longer had it. As for working, yes Dex managed to work his way up in Sonny's organization pretty quickly, but he also had Michael's guidance on how to bond with Sonny and get in his inner circle, so he didn'texactlydo it on his own. All this to say, Spencer's still young. He's growing and learning. Maybe he did just learn o keep his opinion on Dex to himself. Although it'll be really interesting once he finds out what Dex did. Even more interesting when he finds out that Joss was 100% supportive of it. -
@big_cheddar1 - you proved my point. Spencer does not know anything about Joss now. Her eyes have been opened;Spencer still sees his "uncle Sonny". Spencer was naive enough to walk onto the boat and got caught. Spencer was in over his head, and Trina was the one who gave the distractions so that someone could save Spencer. Spencer's "I must be the one"attitude almost got him killed in the end. Spencer needs to grow up and wise up.

I love pissed off Spencer. Maybe this Dex thing/story is stupid but Spencer is a Cassadine and needs to have that edge to him. He can't always be a "good" character. I get the needs to grow up
and mature and I can get on board with that but I still want to see a pissed off, angry Spencer from time to time to keep the character interesting and true to the Cassadine character trait.Comment

Spence does need to let it go. If what he says is true, eventually it'll come to pass. But he's not doing himself any favors. I'm sure Dex could easily lay him out if he wanted to.Comment

Spencer can pretend all he wants that it's about Cam, but it isn't. That's his excuse so he can continue to pat himself on the back and throw his weight around some more. I am beginning to despise Spencer's entitled attitude, but clearly nothing he has been through and no amount of Trina will deflate his enormous head. Just an arrogant loser with absolutely no life experience to back it up. So over him... And he's very lucky that Dex hasn't decided to just kick his ass and be done with it lol.Comment

Dex did not kick his rear today - he literally held back, blocking Spencer's punch and gave Spencer a jab to the mouth - just enough to split his lip. A Tangible Reminder that there is more to Dex than being "an errad boy". Spencer was p.o.'d - Dex showed him up with apparent little effort and let me go -- that was demeaning in itself to Spencer. So he had to cover with Trina and she was not buying his story.
