CLOUDFARE Security Message

Over the past few days you may have received a "Checking if the site connection is secure" message when accessing the site. This is perfectly normal and not cause for alarm.

This message indicates that the server is confirming that the SSL (the "s" that you see in the https before web addresses) security is, in fact, secure. This is not some sort of advertisement and it is not some sort of nefarious hacking.

Cloudfare, which is a provide of web hosting and security, has recently added this layer of security on the Soap Central message boards platform as an added layer of security.

The message may occur any time that your browser makes a new connection to the boards. The message may also stop appearing at any time as the process is further integrated into the boards.

Is today's WSB 's overall mission different from the 80s and 90s?

I ask because it seems to me that in the last few years, they seem to very careless with who they allow to be in charge (like Victor a few years ago) and they seem not to care very much about making thoughtful / reasonable decisions (like caring more about having their agents carry out orders...without getting input from former respected agents). The various recent interactions make me think they are more interested in exercising power and flexing muscle than actually considering that others might have information that may actually yield a better outcome. It all seems to be about who has the most money and power.

I used to believe that the WSB was on more on the good side but since Victor was the director I think it's more about who has the money and power.

I think the same thing. Victor seems to have endless people at the WSB willing to do his bidding when he needs it, for monetary gain or other favors, especially if it's against the law. The only people who seem to want to listen to Robert or Anna, other than Frisco, are the ones who are trying to do the right thing and can think reasonably for themselves...and they seem few and far between, by comparison.

Back in the 80s and 90s, the WSB were the good guys. Robert, Frisco, Sean, and Anna were the heroes of the show.

That's my point. Their mission seems to have changed and they don't always care about what's best for their fellow man. I mean...I don't understand how Victor was ever in charge. He doesn't even know how to defend himself, when needed. He uses his goons, most of whom, are not very bright. In comparison, Sean trained Robert and Anna when he was in charge. Also, they trained Frisco, in addition to his police training. He also worked his way up as an agent, to make it to the top. So, I don't understand what the current WSB's mission really is. Does it make sense to have the person in charge fired, on the spot, just because someone doesn't like one decision??

Well to be fair, if you go back to the whole David Gray affair, the WSB has had shady people in charge at one point or another ever since they were first introduced. But people tend to forget about that in the early days. They were never totally "clean".
