Gaw... this is so plot driven, boring and yuck. Unless Carly comes home and starts telling the truth, what a waste of airtime.

I agree. It's becoming Carly and Drew overload. I really enjoy Cameron Mathison and his Hallmark mystery and Christmas movies but I think he's miscast as Drew
-
Hate to but I ff through their scenes.

I totally agree with him being miscast as well. I think he might be better with Elizabeth. Carly should have a romp with Dex - that would be some serious storyline potential

That gave hardly been the last few weeks. Carly was in Florida by herself for most of the time. I’d hardly call that hogging air time. CM is actually just like Drew. Drew was a nice guy who was always helpful and helped Liz even after what she did. You may not like him because he doesn’t look like BM but he is Drew Cain and not miscast. He’s playing what he’s given and directed to play it. Love him and Carly!

I love the Carly and Drew scenes! I love Carly and can't wait to see what's coming next for her! It's the story I'm enjoying most now.

The last scenes felt like they were attempting a re-enactment of "Love Is A Many-Splendored Thing"....

I’m so glad they are on screen together with no one else! So easy to mute and FF their scenes. I’m enjoyed not watching either of them so much. As a result, I’m not missing anything about characters I actually enjoy watching.

I personally LOVE their scenes.
Love in the Afternoon - bring it!Last edited by FleurdiLisa; October 21, 2022, 05:00 PM. Reason: Apparently the OP changed the title or two threads were merged, but initially I was referring to the title which basically sad Carly and Drew made them gag. To each their own.

Crew is starting to grown on me (Die hard Jarly fan here). They have good chemistry and a sparkle and best thing is, Carly doesn’t have to lie to Drew about who he is, or who she is. At first I wa te them as just friends but after these last few weeks, I say bring it on.

I'm FEELING them and loved every scene today. They are all kinds of sparkly and have natural easy chemistry. This is the best Carly has been treated ever, she's cried for two years it's time for her to accept Drew and GO FOR IT! Beach scenes were stunning, beautiful location and beautiful people! I thoroughly enjoyed every scene and that kiss, smoking HOT!

I really enjoyed them. I thought it was well done. It wasn't and action packed adventure. But it was a nice story with resolution and emotional weight. And I loved Crew on the beach. They both look so at ease with one another. Nit that LW and MB didn't always look comfortable together. But the was a weight and darkness with them that is completely absent from Crew. Crew is like walking out into a sunny garden after after spending several quiet days watching the rain. The rain was pretty but becoming oppressive. Now you feel lighter and freer.

In my opinion, Drew is being written out of character & this pairing with Carly is very forced. Billy Miller's Drew wasn't interested in Carly romantically. And Carly didn't give Drew a second thought once Jason showed up alive & well. I guess they want us to forget that but Drew & Carly as they are right now...it just isn't working for me.

SAMLEXIS FAN I am another one who rarely agrees with you, but I do agree on this. I actually like Carly (used to love to hate her, but now really just love her). I want her to move on to a healthy, happy, non-Sonny/Jason-adjacent man who is a good fit for her and not abusive, but also not a fawning lapdog. This version of Drew just feels wrong and forced to me. The relationship would make more sense if Drew had been hesitant and wary of Carly because of how she pretty much turned her back on him when she found out he was not the real Jason. Making like they were long lost besties and then Drew suddenly being madly in love with Carly just feels weird to me. I want to like them but I can't, at least not so far.

CM could have been Jax Then this romance would make more sense
