I did not agree with Scotty saying they were victims of Michael's But they were victims of their parents. And Nell was a victim of her faux daddy and ONE of Michael's step-parents. To say they were nobody's victim is a flat out lie!

I thought that in the context of the questioning he was saying they weren't his victims. He didn't allude to Jax, Frank or Madeline and neither did Scotty. He was talking about the years of endless attacks from Nelle and now Nina. That he and his family were the victims of them.

oh no that no what scotty said he said that nelle and nina are michael victims, that the reason nelle hid wiley was because she was scared of michael when we all saw nelle give wiley to brad to punish michael and carly. i remember when nelle would always throw it in carly face that she knew something that she didnt. scott was way out of line with the comment
michael suffered too much at the hands of nelle and now he and his family is being tormented by nina, where nelle left off nina is continuting

GH4lifer Scotty started the day off out of line. Yeah, I took Michael's statement in context of Scotty's questions. Like they all knew Nelle was a victim of Jax and Frank. Even Carly has said recently that Nina was Mad Mads victim- but I meant I didn't think Michael was implying N&N werent victims when he said "nobody's victim" he meant they're not his or his families victims like Nina love tell everyone.
I don't think I'm explaining myself well. My apologies!
So yeah I totally agree with what you said!

Nina was a victim of her mother, and later Ric Lansing, Nelle's father literally sold her kidney as a child, not to mention Jax displaying his privilege by bypassing all the people without his resources waiting on a legitimate list and buying a child's kidney no questions asked. So yes Michael in a general sense they are victims, although it isn't relevant in your visitation case.

So does the fact that they were both victims of their parents excuse all the havoc that each have created over the years in PC? I don't think so. The only way that Nelle's reign of terror ended was by her "death". No telling what will end Nina's since the writers seem bound and determined to keep her in our faces non-stop. Anyone who thinks Nina is done with her craziness is going to be sadly disappointed.

Scotty was flat-out wrong when he said that Nelle and Nina were Michael's victims. I'd imagine he could face some kind of sanctions. Officers of the court can't knowingly lie in court.
Sure, Nelle was Frank Benson's victim, and Nina was Madeline's victim. None of that had anything to do with Michael. And none of that excuses Nelle's two attempts to kill Michael, her decision to give their child to the first person she saw and then hand him a dead baby. None of that makes it wrong for Michael, having welcomed Nina into his son's life, change his mind and bar her after she has exhibited inappropriate and hurtful behavior.
As for Jax: Nelle wasn't really his victim either. Yes, Jax bought a kidney from Frank Benson, but he had no idea that Frank would carve it out of his own kid. He was looking for someone alive who would be willing to sell a kidney. Illegal, unethical -- sure. But what happened to Nelle is squarely on the shoulders of Frank Benson. And even if you do blame Jax, it has nothing to do with Michael. Michael is in no way to blame for this situation, and what happened to Nelle in no way excuses her crimes against Michael, Wiley himself, Carly, Brook Lynn and Zach.

Instead of saying Nelle and Nina were nobody's victims I wish he had brought up Nelle's misdeeds, what she did to both Sonny and Carly and Michael, against everyone's warnings, decided to get with her and conceived a child with her anyway. And moved her into his grandmother's mansion just like he did with all his other girlfriends, with the exception of Abby. The arguments about Nelle should have had nothing to do with the grandparent visitation petition. So if the child's dead mother was brought into the case then all other bets were off.
