You are right! I don't understand why any of the many friends and loved ones that Nina has won't call her out on her delusions. Nina and Nelle are not victims and someone close to Nina needs to set her straight. There is no way that she should be around Wiley or any child.
-
-
Nina needs therapy before she should be allowed around Wiley (or any child she feels entitled to). She is not rational when it comes to Nell. Nina is selfish and delusional imo.

But Sonny, Carly, Michael, and Willow all need therapy too. So maybe none of them should be around Wiley. Who could probably use some himself.
-
-
Yes, each of them can use therapy lol. Almost every character could use therapy. But it’s Nina that has issues with respecting the boundaries that Wiley’s parents have set. Nina disregards anything she doesn’t agree with. So Nina is untrustworthy around Wiley because she doesn’t care how M/W want to raise their child. Nina needs professional help to learn how to cope with reality. Right now she is delusional and only thinking about how Wiley makes her feel better not about what is best for him. IF Nina got help then I would root for M/W to join Nina in family therapy but Nina needs to address her issues first.

Had to laugh when Scotty said Nelle was afraid of Michael - she left him to burn in the wrecked car!
Nina is always the victim - even today she said “I did what I had to do. I hope you understand” after Scotty went on the attack with Michael. Sonny is trash for supporting her!

Every time Nina say that Nelle was "troubled" I want reach through the screen and knock her block off.
Troubled is:
TJ scamming customers at MetroCourt pretending to be a valet.
Michael after coming out of his coma.
Joss shoplifting clothes.
Spencer, all of his plans.
There more examples but my brain is scattered right now.
My point is that Nelle was not "troubled" she severe mental issues that Mommy's love can not fix. Intense amount of therapy is what Nelle needed.

1sbkmcfan let me say *tried* Carly caught him in the act.
Chris I'm saying Nelle's not troubled- that's Nina's cutsey way of downplaying Nelle's behavior. Nelle was far worse then troubled.
Carly has made many bad decisions- to my knowledge she's never killed anyone or bought a blackmarket organ, etc. Also, Frank left when Carly was three.

There was something else that I noticed after today's episode, and that was that Michael actually knows he has to explain his past to his son and take responsibility. He's not trying to whitewash it or pretend it didn't happen or make excuses about it. Nina, on the other hand, after crying crocodile tears to Sonny is suddenly fine again and on the phone with Liesl. Michael actually feels bad about his past and not excusing it. Nina is always a victim. She was nodding her head in agreement when Scotty said Nelle and Nina were Michael's victims.
I am looking forward to Willow confronting Nina,, and now I see if Carly keeps the secret about Nina and Willow,, it will be because of what Nina did to her family,, her,, Jason,, and now Michael. She wants to blow Nina's world apart, and I don't blame her. Lastly, Diane did a great job of pointing out that Nina saw Wiley ONCE in six months. The other time doesn't count, imo, because she got caught and was trying to see him one last time before the truth came out.

Yeah we can clearly see how Michael will deal with his past and be upfront about it in tbe way it hit Willow like a ton of bricks when Scotty brought it up in court.
Theres not ONE mother that wouldnt try to see the good in theur own Child so i dont consider Nina desilusional for thinking that had she been allowed to be involved in her daughte's life Nelle might have turned different. Im sure Bobbie felt the same way when she first realized she had Spawn the shedevil that stole her husband.

Nina and Nelle ( and now Willow) were victims of Madelaine. Nina and Nelle came out vengeful- both at the wrong person: Nina initially blamed Silas for all her problems ( from Madelaine), then blamed her problems on Carly when Michael shut her out of Wylie’s life after she refused to follow Michaels instructions, and did not tell about Sonny.
Nelle blamed Carly for all her woes, when it was their shared adoptive father who fed her misinformation.
In both cases, the behavior patterns were based on misinformation/ false information. Instead of fact checking, they both went for revenge against the wrong person.
Willow like Nelle was placed with a person who did not have her best interests at heart. Did she seek revenge? No. She moved on , and She was trying to mend fences when her adoptive mother lost it and the worst in her came out.
sadly, I cannot call Nina delusional; I will call her self centered and defiant- she will get what she wants at any relationship cost.
Nelle was psychopathic, and was going to get what she wanted even if she had to kill, assault and maim to do it.
Willow appears, like James Nathan West, to have been spared in the genetic cesspool of the Reeves makeup.

Nina is a complete sociopath. She needs to be wearing a straitjacket locked up in a padded cell at shadybrook. She should NOT be allowed to be around any children. And the fact she has so many enablers/defenders in Port Charles is ridiculous. She takes absolutely no responsibility for any of her actions.

And as for the Willow vs. Nina confrontation -- yep, we can see the pieces falling into place.
Willow wouldn't be so angry on her own account. But Nina has attacked Michael, and that will cause Willow to completely and utter denounce Nina.
Carly will hear this exchange and conclude that Willow wouldn't want to be Nina's daughter, and feel justified in not telling her. And maybe Carly will feel that everything Nina has done to hurt Carly's loved ones, Nina doesn't deserve to have a daughter.
But in order for this mother-daughter story to work, Nina has to realize down the road that she is the one who ruined her own chances of getting what she wanted most in the world, a relationship with a living child.
And Carly did promise Nina that she would burn her world to the ground.

Nina is grieving and she is still in the bargaining stage.
If I had…I could have …I was denied
Carly depriving her of information and threatening her of cutting her out of Wiley’s life only prolonged the anger stage.Last edited by TVDfan; May 29, 2022, 01:53 PM.

And this is the key. When Michael first told Nina she needed some time, it was to grieve. When Nina first went to Nixon Falls, it was to reassess, to grieve, to find the ability to move forward. She saw Sonny and after the call with Carly, chose to get stuck in anger. Nina has yet to deal with anything.

I think that Nina is less delusional and more together than some of the murderous characters on the show.Last edited by believeinme246; May 31, 2022, 07:58 AM.

Now Nina is delusional in thinking Nelle was a victim I am trying to give Nina the benefit of the doubt by thinking she is grieving.
