Spencer (the character) needs better acting lessons to fool Esme...

If he wants to fool Esme.. He come home all
pissy then rants and yells then suddenly is all sweet as pie,, then rages again. Like Esme wouldn;t find that suspicious...especially after finding him snooping in her room and his not wanting to be with her but now he is all excited they get to move in together..

Spencer is ridiculous in thinking he’s got Esme fooled with his “acting skills”. She’s totally onto him now!

What exactly did Spencer learn arcthe drama camp that he went to when he was younger. Wasn’t here they’re lead in Hamlet When Sonny had to stop Valentin from kidnapping him after Nicholas Presumed death

Spencer could be an Oscar worthy actor and Esme would still figure it out because the narrative is always that the villains are all knowing.

Spencer is a nasty bit of business. I know we’re supposed to sympathize with him and supposed to want him with Trina. But I think Trina deserves a heck of a lot better first and foremost. And don’t get me wrong Esmé is the evil, no doubt about it but he’s a jerk. He talks to people who aren’t Esme the way he talked to Esmé, so like I said a jerk.

His plan is the one of the worst carried out plans ever, and to think, we're supposed to believe this idiot is going to save Trina. He either spends his time avoiding Esme, talking about the plan with Cameron/Sam - rather than carrying it out, or throwing a fit at Esme ?‍♀️ This whole plot is so poorly written..

His moods and tone switch back and forth so much and so quickly that I can't keep up or understand what is going on with him. Lately, I am very confused by him.

I am a bit confused about all of this. It seems like some of the scenes were played out of sequence. A few weeks ago Spencer and Esme were through. I saw no scenes where they reconciled but now she is suppose to believe he is into her again (even though the audience knows he isn't)? Maybe I just missed their fake reconciliation.

I agree with you. I couldn't figure out why Esme would believe that Spencer would want her to move with him. With his $10000 a week allowance, he could get his own place and rent out some place else for her.

Between this silly plan of Spencer's and his weird mood swings, it just shows how childish and egotistical Spencer is! It's crazy that he doesn't have more reinforcements with this plan to bring down Esme considering that much of the town distrusts her. Then again, this plan is more about Spencer than it is about Trina. It's not enough for him to clear Trina but he wants to be seen as the "hero" in Trina's eyes. Even now with his moodiness towards Esme, he's more mad at the fact that Rory is threatening what Spencer thinks is his place in Trina's heart. As for Esme, she's not stupid. Deep down, she knows that Spencer is more happy about getting his money back than he is about anything (or anyone) else. I hate Esme with a passion and it pains me to say it, but even she can do better than Spencer!

What is Spencer thinking ? What is Nikolas thinking ? Where is this story going ?

Naw I don't sympathize with Spencer and I don't want him with Trina. He's a kindergartner compared to her level of maturity. Yeah has his number, in fact she's got all of their numbers. They've played into her hands but I think it's going to be Rory who finally takes her down because of his investigation.
