Where was Schmoltz at the hearing?

I am surprised that Schmoltz wasn't there in the courtroom for Nina's case. Was it a closed hearing? You's think he would have been right there.

On one hand they tell usSonny’s family is well known and there is a lot of public interest in them . But then they have a dramatic court hearing and not one reporter shows up.
Family court proceedings are usually closed but I would have thought Stoltz would at least be waiting outside the doors .

This is what I was thinking - family count is closed - witnesses and supporters arrive at the start and the doors are closed.

Maybe Smolltz is waiting outside the doors. But yes, family court proceedings are closed.

This is just another of the many plotholes with the NF story, I wondered where the press core was also. This is a big story that includes a major mob boss, the press would be there to report.

Family court isn't typically open to everyone, I don't think. I think you can only attend if you're a friend/family member to one of the parties or you're planning to testify.

You would think he would be hanging out. SOMEONE would to report on what ever they can. When I was a witness in family court (subpoenaed never called to testifY) We waited outside the courtroom not in it. But TV always has the witnesses sitting in court ready to jump up and confess or yell out

Yeah, that always bugs me about Soap Court.... Witnesses in the courtroom listening to what is said, deciding when/if/whether to adjust their testimony according to which team they're on, to get the desired result.

They should pair Schmolts with Amy. They seem like they'd be a perfect couple both so nosey trying to get in everybody else's business. It is Scmoltz job. Amy missed her calling to be a paparazzi reporter.

Maxie too. She was there with Nina but had to leave when James came down with a fever. Where was Leisl in support of Nina? She's family.

No one was there for Nina but Sonny. How freaking dumb is that?

But really as some have said in family court all these "supporters" should be outside the courtroom (Even YOU Carly). The one time I was there I got to know my student's great aunts and uncles who were there to support his paternal Grandma (a granny vs Granny ) But we had all that time right outside the courtroom

Shmolz did not find anything new. Just collected public knowledge material. Alexis should've told him to write a piece on all other Wiley's grandmas.
