just my observation on this because since Liz is
my favorite I over analyze everything that has to do with her, ???.
Shadybrook, or anywhere similar is probably bringing up bad memories for Liz herself - she was suicidal the other time she was there, if memory serves me right? But anytime for her away from her boys is hard - that’s why she’s been so intent on finding out who was behind everything so she could have her boys safely back at the house.
on everyone else’s side: they are scared for the reason she is leaving. Cam especially. I’m sure at his age he’s been away from her much longer but he’s scared FOR his mom and what all means. ???Comment

I don't think she's going to be offscreen....
I think GH is gearing up for the resolution of Elizabeth’s stalker storyline, but I don't anticipate a complete resolution for a couple of more months? Rebecca Herbst's 25th anniversary as Elizabeth is around July/August so I'm hoping she will get a standalone episode dedicated to her that will finally help her make peace with her past!Comment

I would love if she got a stand alone epi for her 25th anniversary. Love her or hate her, she's been a pivotal character for her entire run thus far. They fired the actress and then had to bring her back, people loved Liz that much! I'd love to see Becky get Emmy material in such an episode. -
I so want Elizabeth's story to continue and to be all about her. I like Finn - I'm starting to recover from his paternalistic manner of the past couple weeks - but this should be Elizabeth's story and only hers. -
Wanda Wolek lol! Right!! I was so mad at Finn!! But I also am letting that go - I want him to a part of this but as a character on the sidelines Cheering Liz on!

I have no clue what's going on now, but I believe the last time Liz was at Shady Brook was when she met Ewen Keenan. She might have wanted Lucky to hang around a bit and thought he couldn't resist playing a hero. She was perfectly sane.Originally posted by c83gilles View Post

Elizabeth has been in Shadybrook twice before. The first time was when she found out she was pregnant (with Aiden) and didn’t know if the father was Lucky or Nick. She went up to the Hospital roof and was contemplating jumping. Lucky found her and talked her out of it (those scenes between RH and JJ were ❤️).
The second time she faked having a breakdown thinking that it would help her get Lucky back. Maxie outed her and that’s when Lucky decided he needed to leave town to break their cycle of codependency. I think that was also when she met Ewen.Comment

Elizabeth met Ewan when he rescued her when Lisa Niles pushed her overboard during Maxie's birthday cruise for Matt! He rescued her at Wyndemere/Spoon island and then left her in Spinelli's hands! He then thought she was imagining things until she saw him again pretending to be a patient instead of a doctor! -
So she has been in three times then. Was the Ewan meeting Ferncliff maybe? -
No the Ewan meeting was the second time she was in for faking illness and that time she was at Shady Brooke as well!
Not she about this time but it is likely going to be at Shady Brooke as well?
