SAMLEXIS FAN , Willow will stay or get back on good terms with Carly quickly unless Willow will be used as the excuse to end another of Michael's failed pairings.

1sbkmcfan Willow is going to feel Carly betrayed her so I don't see her being on good terms with Carly. I'm all for Michael & Willow coming to an end... they're beyond boring.

I think that it will take time (a lot of time) before she begins to back away from just about hating Nina. It won't come all at once because there is a lot to get over but we all have seen that Willow is a forgiving person at heart.
With Carly though though, I think that it is a different story. Willow will understand her motives: Harmony asked her not tell Willow. Willow has been treated so poorly by Nina for quite a while and for no good reason. Willow knows that Carly may have the wrong decision but she did so out of caring to protect Willow and of course Wiley.
Carly is just a person that is more of a controlling person. She is extremely protective and that gets in the way of some of her decisions. When she sees a possible situation/information that will really hurt and/or even devastate a person she will opt for the protection most of the time. She has suffered the consequences by doing that before but it is just in her nature...It is like a parent taking the "bullet" for her kid in her mind. Even if it isn't someone close to her she will opt to think "What they don't know won't hurt them." Right or wrong, it isn't because she is evil, demented, crazy, living in never never land like Nina....it is, arguably, a character flaw...which everybody has. Maybe one day she will realize that she is just making it worse for herself because the truth always comes out in the end.
Nina, no matter what, is a whack job and will always be a whack job unless she gets to have a long comfortable stay a Shady Brook.Last edited by Lisa58; May 27, 2022, 11:08 AM.

I can't see Willow just blindly excusing all of the awful things Nina has done to her over the years just because she turns out to be her birth mother.

Exactly. Nina was so mean and rude to Willow as Charlotte’s teacher. Now with the events of the last year…Jax blackmailing Michael so Nina could visit with Wiley (zoomed back from NF to do, but no guilt about withholding info to Michael or Willow that Sonny was alive and well). Once all comes out about Nina revenge on Carly (oh she’s sooo sorrry), Nina tried to divide and conquer between Willow and Michael, but it didn’t work.
So when Willow finds out Nina is her mother, even with the presumed circumstances of Nelle being a sister (who had a BIG hand in bringing down Morgan), it will be a long long way to breaking bread together.

Right now Nina is NOTHING to Willow except for her abuser and her bully
I don't think it's right to FORCE Willow to bond with her abuser because of some DNA test.
And we KNOW that Nina hates Willow - those are her TRUE feelings.
So anything AFTER the truth comes out will be completely fake, forced, and contrived.
The much BETTER storyline is Willow empowering herself by NOT letting Nina back into her life and having control over her again.
Standing strong - and doing what is right for HERSELF for a change.
She is not obligated to continue to be Nina's punching bag - or repeatedly turn the other cheek because Carly took her toothbrush.
Biology means nothing when you have a parent that is THAT viciously cruel.
Willow needs to be surrounded by those people in her life that TRULY love and care for her.

Carly and Bobbie eventually learned to got along, and I expect Nina and Willow will, too. Unfortunately, Carly seducing Tony was way more interesting than Nina suing for custody of a baby the fans don't care about.

She will eventually bond w/her. That's what usually happens w/this kind of storyline. For examples, look to Bobbie and Carly and Alexis and Sam.

I so agree. I also think this will put a real roadblock in Willow and Michael's relationship

I hope so AMHardulak ! That relationship is boring and needs some spicing up. I forgot about Sonny/Dante Anna74 but that is another good example. Anyone expecting Willow to hate Nina forever must not have much experience w/soaps. They are predictable.

It will take some time, but Willow will eventually bond with Nina. Nina treated her horribly when she was Charlotte's teacher.

“DNA means nothing” is such a weird thing to say when the daughter in question has already forgiven the woman who drugged her and handed her over to be raped.
if Willow really is as perfect as made out to be then she would realize that Nina comes from a place of pain that stems back to when she was put in a coma and had her baby(s) stolen from her.

For example Willow got fired because a parent complained she was teaching a book with a gay kid in it. Not because of Nina.
Also you’re severely overestimating the trauma that Nina put Willow through while being extremely willing to ignore the trauma that Nina has suffered, for example having Willow stolen from her.

LFBHasGreatHair 1st of all...Nina harassed Willow to no end. She brought, what she thought what Willow's faults as a teacher, which were incorrect and did not exist except in a crazy person's mind, out in public and did so repeatedly basically putting a bullseye on her. So when someone else complained it just looked so much worse. That whole thing was on Nina and trying to white wash it is silly.
Nina was in a coma....as horrible as that was, Nina wasn't conscious and having somebody yelling at her for nothing..basically harassing her. Nina's trauma was totally different. It came from not being "conscious" and having a live for decades, which is quite traumatic but not the same as Willow's. Madeline isn't alive any more to be able to punish for what she did but Nina can still answer for what she did.....get the difference. Willow isn't exhibiting bad behavior and saying "Oh, Nina was "mean" to me.... She is way more stable, loving, reasonable, giving....than Nina could ever even understand. Nina was raised and given the best of everything..she is entitled, superficial and a whackjob.

stop making things up like Nina got Willow fired. It was very clear that Willow got fired by a homophobic parent.

Willow lets Michael get away with awful behavior. Carly has done way, way worse things than Nina. Willow needs to get to know her mother, Nina.

Carly 1. held Sonny a prisoner in Beechers Corners for three years; 2. tried to poison Wiley's mind with actual strychnine, and not just Nina's patented brand of emotional poison; 3. almost got everyone in Port Charles murdered by trying to cover up for Peter August; 4. carved newborn babies out of their mothers' wombs by the thousands....
That's all I've got. Nina is a mentally broken reprobate whose true love is Ryan Chamberlain, even if they haven't met yet.

I see a few scenarios here:
If Carly stabs Willow in the back (which she most likely will) like she did Nina by keeping quiet even after she gets DNA proof, I can see this blowing up in Carly's face. Willow will never forgive Carly because she already asked Carly if Harmony shared any additional information with her & Carly lied to Willow's face already. And if Carly, say, decides to share the secret with Michael & both of them decide it's best to keep Willow in the dark, I can see Willow feeling betrayed by both of them & have her running to Nina's doorstep.
Another scenario is Willow is faced with a medical crisis which forces Carly to reveal the truth. Nina saves Willow's life; she's grateful to her & decides she wants to build a relationship with her as mother & daughter.
And the other scenario is Nina & Willow start off on a rocky path. Eventually, as time goes on, they begin to bond as mother & daughter.

TVDfan I think the real medical crisis for Willow will play out closer to when the mother/daughter reveal happens. For now, we're going to hear Willow making comments about how she's tired from time to time. Hopefully, they don't drag this out until November sweeps though.

Another scenario is that Carly tells Michael and
Willow then together they decide that they don't want Nina to know.
