Even at court Nina is STILL blaming everyone around her for her own actions [Merged]

I can't believe how delusional Nina has become. She is starting to act just like Nelle, blaming Michael and Carly for everything, even though she was given chance after chance. I remember it being Michael and Willow who brought Wiley straight to Nina when they found out Nina was Nelle's mother. Then, Michael asked Nina to come over to spend some time with Wiley, but with the condition to not mention Nelle, but what did Nina do, she still mentioned Nelle being Wiley's real mother, which confused the child so much. Then, Michael asked Nina to take some time to collect and help herself before seeing Wiley again, but instead, she has Carly arrested, makes a big scene at Sonny's funeral, and when she finds Sonny in Nixon falls, she lied about it. When Michael called her back to see Wiley and she came over, Michael told her about how Sonny used to get him toys and about how much he misses his father, and Nina pretended not to know anything. And now, she had the audacity to say Michael and Willow never gave her a chance? Her innocent act is really starting to become unbearably annoying. And I don't like how all the characters are acting like Millow are trying to get back at Nina because it's not about that, it's simply about them protecting their child from Nina because Nina is clearly not currently in a mentally stable or healthy state, which is their complete right until Wiley grows old enough to make decisions about who he wants present in his life.

This. This is why I can't stand this character she refuses to see what she's done. In her head she did nothing wrong mostly because Sonny refuses to hold her accountable for anything. He's as selfish as she is. Anyway, Nina has always been crazy, it's just gotten worse over the years.

If Carly attempts to destroy Willow, she will loose her son.
And Yes, Nina will drive a wedge between Willow and MIchael - Harmony witnessed Nina talk about her daughter and her relationship with MIchael - it has already been forecast.

Yeah my biggest issue isn't even how delusional Nina is by seeing herself as the victim, it's all her enablers who just seem to conveniently forget or just not care about all the pain and damage she caused. For all her horrible decisions Nina seems to have countless supporters for no reason. And the hypocrisy of her trying to claim that because she's Wiley's grandmother she deserves to have time with him as if Sonny wasn't his grandfather and she made a point to keep him in that dark. Wiley (and Willow) would be better off without her imo.

Well it seems that Willow will not be better off without Nina, because she is going to need Nina to survive when she gets sick.... Or will they kidnap Nina and steal whatever body part or material Willow will need, Knowing Carly she will kidnap Nina and take what she wants or have Jax do it for her..

Once the truth comes out, Nina will have Wiley, Leisel and yes Nina. Nina's isn't the only blood relation Willow will have. What body part do you think she will need? Will they use the fact that Willow needs help as leverage into Wiley's life? Yes. That's why I think this feud will go on for a long time.

bandwagon that's like saying danny was better for having julian in his life because he was a match for his bone marrow. big whoop, doesn't change all the terrible things julian did. biology only gets you so far. nina is not a good person because she doesn't take accountability for her actions. wiley and willow both would be better off without her in their lives. i hope nina grows as a person and stops making excuses and platitudes about all the pain and damage she has caused (and all her enablers with her), but until that happens willow and wiley would have a better life without her toxicity.

I don't see Nina having "enablers", I see a host of characters (Maxie, Britt, Ava) who have made mistakes, know Nina is not a "danger" to Wiley, and think she deserves a chance to build a relationship with her grandson.

Even Dante thinks Michael is taking things too far in this visitation battle.

And let's not credit Michael with reaching out to Nina (after the Willow/Wiley/not your mommy comment). He only did that because Jax blackmailed him into it.

GH29 You are absolutely right. Nina is a lunatic. I don't care about the "crime family" problems. Nelle was lethal and Nina could be lethal.. Nina is nuts for sure.

Comparing Sonny, Carly, Michael, Willow to Nina and Nelle is hard because they all have very strong problems with being considered qualified to have children under their care. It is really complicated and people will choose to see what they want to see....to a degree. The thing that I see is that Nina has never really "sacrificed" herself for anything. She is very impulsive..in many ways. She threw Harmony in Willows face..impulsive...then thought about it and apologized later. She gets mad and then she blurts things out without thinking...or she sees Willow calling herself "mommy" a few times and gets "mad" so she waits until she's alone with Wiley and let's him know that Willow isn't really his "Mommy". So when Willow comes down in tears and tells Michael what is wrong, Nina "stupidly" says that she had to tell Wiley the "truth"....Since when has Nina cared about the truth???? She acted impulsively when she let Wiley know that Willow wasn't his mommy. She doesn't have self control and she doesn't have Wiley's best interest at heart when "she can't wait to tell Wiley all about Nelle". Her lack of good..or even decent judgement concerning Wiley doesn't exist. It all stems from what Nina wants to achieve thru Wiley. Will Wiley become another tool to be used against Carly??? I wouldn't doubt it, because that is how Nina operates. If Nina gets visitation with Wiley....especially unsupervised rights for visitation...she will want to get more. She will undermine Carly, Michael, Willow....every chance she gets. If she sense any threat to her visitation access.....Watch Out...because she will disappear with Wiley. After all that has gone on around Wiley, I don't recall Carly, Michael, Willow...ever criticising Nelle or Nina to Wiley. They have not used Wiley to punish Nina, they have given Nina a more than fair chance..or chances and Nina uses her chances to "stake a claim" in some way...anyway.

Nina's issues for not getting Wiley are purely what she will do with the visits and opportunity. She has already shown what she will do with them...so far ...starting with her assessment of what she thinks and has concluded Carly did about Nell, Nina kept Sonny away from his whole family for the better part of a year. When she was afraid that Sonny might see Wiley or Wiley might see Sonny on the phone call with Nina, she hung up on Wiley. When Nina was playing goo goo eyes with Sonny, she did not keep regular contact with Wiley.....With Nina..it all is to do with Wiley.....can she or will she be ADULT enough to protect him?

Lisa58 This is all 100% accurate. Nina so clearly wants to achieve something through Wiley, whether it be her chance to have the child she always longed for or to have the chance to have what she considers to be "hers". Maybe she sees Wiley as her property, just like Nelle did, because given the way Nina speaks about Wiley, you never hear her say how much she loves or adores her grandson, you only hear her saying "I'm going to show Michael, Carly, and Saint Willow who is the real winner" and "Wiley is all I have left of Nelle." You never hear her appreciate Wiley for his individual self, so imo, Wiley is so much better off without Nina and her toxicity.

Yeah lot of criminals walking free in Port Charles.

This idea that Nina is somehow the most villainous biggest psychopath because she let Michael and Carly believe that the multi murdering child prostituting extortion artist was dead for a few months is quite asinine.

What gets me is that back when Nina forced Ava into labor and then kidnapped Avery....neither Sonny or Carly went after Nina. They "understood". Ava was the one holding the grudge.

NOW Carly and Michael want to use it against her? FTS.

Michael was and is Wiley's bio father. He was stolen from Michael. Michael was in Wiley's life from the day he was born and spent a lot of time babysitting Wiley. Wiley was also a lot younger. No one stole Wiley from Nina. Nina is Wiley's grandmother, not a custodial parent. Nina didn't use her time wisely and chose not to spend time with Wiley. Nina can't keep Nelle's name out of her mouth when she is around Wiley and choses to disregard the wishes of the parents. Until Nina gets it together and considers Wiley's well being and the wishes of Wiley's parents, she needs to stay away.

Nina is SO far gone in her psychosis - that she is beyond ALL common decency, or reason.

She truly doesn't understand WHY Michael and Willow have an issue with her being around Wiley

Making her the LEAST self aware character that GH or ANY soap has EVER had.

And yes - she's very much obsessed with Carly - making EVERYTHING her fault and never taking any TRUE accountability for her actions or the damage and destruction she's done.

      JUST like her lunatic daughter.

Two psychotic peas in a pod.

When Nina said hasn’t anybody lied in this courtroom, I laughed out loud. If we look at all the grandparents, none of them should be allowed to see Wiley. Has Nina done horrible things? She sure has but so has Carly and Sonny. Let’s give a list to the judge, that’s what I would do if I were Scott. So sick of this nonsense of making Carly and Sonny looking like saints of the community to keep children away from their parents/grandparents. Enough writers. Ava was written horribly, Nina is written horribly all to show that Carly and Sonny could keep Avery from her mother and Wiley from his grandmother. I personally don’t feel any of these people should be around any children but, sadly, there are a lot of people in this world who don’t deserve children. If you’re going to write this story let’s being out the truth about all the characters not have Carly sitting there smirking like she’s better than Nina because she’s not. I’ll state for the record I’m not a Nina or Carly fan, I don’t like how either character is written and I personally don’t see why either woman would want Sonny.

I really don’t care for any of these characters in this ridiculous fight but I have to say Nina could’ve had visitation and probably a lot more but it was more important to stick it to Carly. Nina had no concern for Wiley, or visitation when she knew Sonny was alive and kept it from his family. SMH

JJ1 I can't find my post so I don't rember exactly what we were talking about, sorry for that. But to your post Nina's statements in court didn't get M&W full custody of Wiley. Nelle showed up in court the first day wearing a wedding dress, she went on to have two epic meltdowns before the judge. Did Nina help? Sure, but she's now acting as if that gives her every right to Wiley and his growth and development, as a parent. She is not his parent or his legal guardian and has no say whatsoever to what or when he's told things.
