Question about Ric Lansing sexually assaulting Claudia Z

Hi! Sorry I have been in a rabbit hole of watching old clips and reading up on character wikis to remember certain storylines and there's one thing I noticed on Ric Lansing's character wiki that I cannot remember or find any evidence of.... Apparently back in 2009 Ric raped Claudia? I know when he first was introduced he drugged Carly and made her think they slept together to blackmail her and she claimed he raped her since she had no memory of it (until the truth was finally revealed), but I cannot remember him actually assaulting Claudia. I thought there was some issues with the paternity of her unborn baby between him and Sonny, but I assumed it was because she was sleeping with them both at the time Do any of you remember this? I'm genuinely so confused. I know this is very random, but I was just surprised by that bit on his character profile.

don't remember but did a google and found this .......Ric later discovers her involvement in Michael Corinthos' shooting, and after months of taunting Claudia with the information, he rapes her in April 2009 and reveals Claudia's secret to Sonny. Sonny, who distrusts Ric, asks him for further evidence and allows his wife to live with him until she is proven guilty.

I googled it too. But I was watching back then and do not remember any rape of Claudia. I remember her using sex to keep Ric in line and to maybe make a baby she could pass as Sonny's.

I remember what you remember. I do recall that Claudia had been raped as a teenager and something about Ric's dad maybe having abused her/raped her. But I can't recall if those were the same incidents. But this is all just what's rattling around in my memory.

Ok glad I'm not the only one who cannot recall this. I knew there was a sexual relationship between them and he thought he could have fathered her baby, but I didn't think Claudia had been raped by him.

I don't remember Ric raping Claudia. I think they both were using each other for different purposes.

The bigger story was that Ric's father Trevor Lansing had raped Claudia when she was a teenager.

Maybe whoever wrote the wiki got mixed up or just got it wrong.

Ric definitely raped Claudia. He had incriminating evidence on her and blackmailed her into sex. That's rape. She was not a willing participant.

I remember them sleeping together while not even liking each other as people. And I remember Ric, later when Claudia was with Sonny, having incriminating evidence and using it to manipulate her and being skeezy. But I don't actually remember them sleeping together while he was holding the evidence over her.

Though, if he did. I agree, that was rape.

I thought both Ric and Claudia had incriminating info about each other and both blackmailed each other. I don't remember all the details though.

If he did blackmail her into sleeping with him then yes, that's extortion and is not consent. I just don't remember that storyline well so when I saw he was listed as a rapist I was very confused. Thanks!

i remember this same question came up a few years ago and found this thread. i really couldn’t watch a lot of ric - he was easy on the eyes but his storylines were revolting
