Will all of this custody/visitation/whatever drama with that kid ever end? I swear, people are going to still be fighting over him when he's 40.

I can't stand to hear Wiley's name anymore

Same! I’m hoping that with next week being the custody hearing, regardless of who wins I hope it ends all this onscreen Wiley stuff. For a kid we rarely see, this all feels so pointless.

If Nina loses, we'll still have to hear about Wiley. If she wins, we'll hear Millow complaining about her visiting Wiley. We will NEVER be free from Wiley.

Yes it does. What a boring story!
I’d like the writers to do with this story what teams do with players in baseball.
Designate it for assignment…meaning, goodbye lol

I've been growing more and more tired of hearing Wiley's name since the day he was born. Not the kids fault, but dang you would think he is a lead character for how often he is discussed.
And I was especially fed up today. Elizabeth's scenes were so short and spread out during a very important revelation. Instead of her name all I kept hearing (and growling at) were the names of Wiley, Nina, Carly and Sonny. Repeatedly. Just like on most days..

Maxiegirl agreed. And cam’s expression broke my heart - I love his relationship with Liz - Cam is so protective of his mom that him seeing something he couldn’t help her with had him freaked out and extremely upset. THAT should of been the main storyline today.

All of the "Wiley, wiley, WILEY!," (pardon the Brady Bunch reference) is definitely tedious. As a long time viewer, I can say I felt exactly the same when it was all, "Michael, michael, MICHAEL!" I guess I can't even use "was", because that is still a thing. It's just now we have two of them. ?
I know its tough to put very young children at the center of major stories, without it turning into just a bunch of scenes with people talking about the child, because of the strict rules for child actors. My solution to that difficulty would be to stop making very young children the center of major stories!

This has gone on way too long. Maybe it is ending soon now that Willow will have another story going. But Wiley will probably be the new Young Michael who got way too much focus during childhood. Almost everything Sonny , Jason and Carly did was punctuated ad nauseam with "I'm doing it for Michael."

Agree. Too much Wiley! How about focusing on the long forgotten kids? How about a story about Danny coping with losing his dad and maybe resenting his Uncle Drew for being the reason? Or have him acting out against Scout because she has a dad and he doesn't? What about Rocco coping with his mom being in a coma for years and now his sister has been sent away? What about Rocco upset that his dad is dating someone else? What about Avery dealing with her broken home? We had a glimpse of Georgie a few weeks ago upset about her mother dating Austin. I was hopeful... but then nothing.

I became tired of that kid from the moment Willow became obsessed with him.
I don't think it will end with Wiley because he's the only thing that Michael and Willow have to talk about.

I’ve hated Wiley ever since they (the writers) took him from Brucas and gave him to Michael!! Brucas deserved a kid, not loser Michael! Nelle should have lied about Michael being the dad.
The drama surrounding this brat has been OTT and boring. I don’t care who sees Wiley. No one wants to hurt that kid!
ETA: This story really only works if you: (1) love/like Millow, (2) hate/dislike Nina, and (3) think Nina is a danger to Wiley.
I don’t check any of those boxes so this story has been a colossal FAIL for me pretty much since the babies were switched!Last edited by lala214; May 20, 2022, 11:01 PM.
