Bobbie's comment about Nina angered me

I get it that she is trying to be supportive of her daughter and her grandson but she seems to forget that at one point she BOUGHT a child on the black market and even petitionned the court to seek custody of the kid she stole away from her best friend Tiffany who was the child's aunt.

I love seeing Bobbie and wish we had her on more but I hate that she is dismissing all of her own mistakes to side with Carly. Just aknowledging that she went to great length to hold on to a kid she had no claim to in the first place would respect the show's history. she doesn't have to condon Nina's actions but at least understand them on some level.

We spent YEARS having other characters trash Carly every chance they got, roll their eyes or snicker when ever she came in a room even when she wasn't really doing anything. So Carly has grown, matured and has gained the respect of people who hated her ie Liz and Monica.
So it is now somebody else turn to be the town pariah

cocophilly I do not see how Carly has grown and matured. She is stagnant and never learns. She may be a little less abrasive but she still makes cruel decisions.

SandyMcG0525 I don't get that comment. The people of PC put she and Sonny on HUGE pedestals and they could do no wrong. She kidnapped someone, and everyone was like "awww, she took really good care of Cyrus and Martin's mom..." On the boards - that's another story.

THIS ^^^^^ yes, everyone gives themselves (or loved ones) a pass for former misdeeds. And of course, changing writers/ptb over and over often means they don’t know the history of the characters so we get a lot of hypocrisy lol

I actually feel the opposite. Every darn day we get Nina's cheerleaders telling her that she didn't do anything wrong, whether that's Sonny, Phyllis, Curtis, Ava, Valentin . . . the list goes on..

Bobbie’s job is to protect Carly understandable but regardless they making Nina out to be this evil person. She simply loves her grandchild and nothing is wrong with wanting to spend time with him. She didn’t reveal Sonny’s whereabouts okay but that has nothing to do with protecting Wiley.,

Carly and Bobbie has done far worse so excuse me why I can’t be their cheering squad in this situation. Whether they can’t forgive Nina for keeping that secret it has no barrings on whether she’s a great grandmother or not.

Carly’s never raped anyone, and never manipulated an amnesiac into a relationship, keeping them from their family. Nina offenses are on par with Ava’s. Carly’s not in their neighborhood.

It seems there is not room enough for more than one woman good enough at a time. Nina is not it right now while Carly has developed a full set of female friends who praise and hangout with her quite often now when before her circle of supporters only consisted of Jason, Sonny and Jax. Nina wears the scarlet letter in Carly, Michael, Willow and Bobbie's eyes right now. I just think all of their hatred of Nina will backfire when it comes to visitation with Wiley.

Bobbie's last indiscretion was like 40 years ago. The idea that any of that is relevant is laughable .
However I am glad she told Nina the truth. No one else in PC seems to want to do that .
