CLOUDFARE Security Message

Over the past few days you may have received a "Checking if the site connection is secure" message when accessing the site. This is perfectly normal and not cause for alarm.

This message indicates that the server is confirming that the SSL (the "s" that you see in the https before web addresses) security is, in fact, secure. This is not some sort of advertisement and it is not some sort of nefarious hacking.

Cloudfare, which is a provide of web hosting and security, has recently added this layer of security on the Soap Central message boards platform as an added layer of security.

The message may occur any time that your browser makes a new connection to the boards. The message may also stop appearing at any time as the process is further integrated into the boards.

    So is Liz going to be in the same facility as Ryan?

    It seems clear after today that they are going with the Liz is doing everything to herself story. But if she is, or even if someone is gaslighting her, she will seek or be forced to seek help. Which probably means she will end up shut in with Ryan. Could she become his next obsession or his next victim? Is she going to factor into the Ryan/Esme storyline somehow? Maybe she will see him talking with Esme, and no one will believe her?

    Spring Ridge, where Ryan is locked up, is a low level security prison. If Liz is sent anywhere, I would think it would be Shadybrook, since that is a facility to treat people with mental illness.

      First, it will have to be understood what has happened to her (if we are guessing right). She might do anything, including disappear from PC. But l would guess she will torment people for a while and cause a lot of pain, even fear, before they do understand. We have a powerful actress here, and l think, l hope, she will be allowed to show her stuff for a bit.
      Of course, watching today's epi, l am possibly completely wrong. Lol Except about Liz being a wonderful actress!!

          This could turn into a great story!
          Remember the medium said she felt a spirit. I’m wondering if maybe she killed someone unknowingly and they are hidden in the house somewhere. In that case, she just might end up where Ryan is, in which case I could see Laura getting involved to help keep her away from him for protection and in the process overhear learning about Esme.

                Well it has been said that Finn is the problem,so she doesn't need any help. If Finn and Violet stay away from her she will be fine.

              The only way she would get there is if she commits a crime and maybe gets "guilty bur insane" and they send her there with therapy.

              What I said doesn't make a lot of logic but more than some one like Ryan being in a minimum security allowed to communicate etc

                Theoretically if they remove her off the sleeping pills or change her medication Her behavior should stop but her suppressed grief needs to be acknowledged. I don’t think words like “psycho and crazy” for people that are legit going through an emotional/mental situation applies - I feel those words are for people like Ryan. Heather.

                this is exactly why I was and am so dead set against Liz having DID. I already bristled when Gregory was like “well she supposed to be a devoted mom”. Newsflash Greg - she is. But loving moms can still have bouts of depression/mental illness. That doesn’t negate being a fantastic mom. Talk about an offensive line.

                  Oh I hated that comment of Greg's as well. She IS a devoted mother. (and the idea that most things happened with the kids gone means something too

                  Thank you for this post, c83gilles. I really am taken aback when people use the term psycho or nut or crazy. Liz was and continues to be possibly the best mother on the show.

                  From my psychiatrist friend - everyone has some mental illness. It's just that when it begins to modify your life that you seek therapy. For Gregory to have shamed her or made incorrect assumptions because of a potential diagnosis was just wrong.

                Why would Liz be sent to any facility? Yes, she has problems, but nowhere near serious enough to warrant committal. Finn knows that Liz has been doing these things in her sleep. I'm not sure, but I think he knows that Liz has been taking sleeping pills. Right now, Liz needs to stop taking those pills and start therapy with Kevin ASAP. She should also try to make any necessary lifestyle changes for getting more sleep. Other than that, she should be able to live her life normally.

                  There is another choice besides Shadybrook. It is for people who have nervous breakdowns and such. I don't remember the name right now but it is where they wanted Carly to go before she was sent to Shadybrook. I also believe Elizabeth was there once before.

                    You are right heddalee. Shady brook is what I was thinking of as the lesser choice. I was confusing Ferncliff with Shadybrook. Carly wanted to go to Shady brook but was sent to Ferncliff. Elizabeth was at Shady brook before and looks like that is where she is going again.
